I am not a speeder. I just dont like cops or tickets. I simply poke around. Its easier on gas, easier on equipment... bla bla bla. Everybody that is anybody who knows me wont ride with me because we take so long to get there. I have no reason to speed...... just leave earlier !!!
Last night driving from Florida..... 15 hours. I am in Kentucky on 41 North, about 25 minutes from the house. A cop shines the spot light right in my eyes from oncoming traffic. I immediately pulled over, Hazzards on. I then got out all registration and license. I knew I was not speeding with cruise set right on 65 in my new RAM. Maybe they were looking for this vehicle. I had hands on the wheel bla bla. Wallet open so he could see my carry permit also.
Well.... Make a long story short, I was not packing but had a brand new Springfield in the plastic in its factory box. He asked me if that was the only gun, I said yes. He takes it out, drops it, bends rear sight. Factory warranty and papers on highway now. He goes to the car and said dont move. While my papers get run over. Next.......... He pulls me out. Its 10 degrees and I am in Shorts and a Tee for my road trip from Florida this morning where it was 78. He made me stand out side. He then pulled his gun on me and said step back. you are suspicious. So I did. He unloaded my truck. When He put my stuff back, he hurled my 40 lb Computer bag and electrical bag on top of my new RC plane wing crushing it. You all know I fly RC stuff. Next......... He said have a nice night, here is a 75 in a 65 ticket. I did your ass a favor. I said favor for what ? I was not speeding. He said I ask the questions around here.
He was 30 and a flat top. Clearly a drop out of the military. Wanted me to answer to him as Sir yes sir. And I wouldnt. Only sir. He smirked when he shattered my plane wing. I went while he was there and picked up all of my papers which he tore out of the new plastic bag my gun was in.... I wish I could have ball batted his face 3-4 times. I was not and do not speed. Of course I have run over the limit a few times on accident, but I am not a catch me if you can radar detector speeder. Nobody is perfect... I understand that.
I had hands on dash, license and registration out, everything right. I was very polite and nice to the guy up until the point he stuck a gun in my face, smashed my plane, lost my papers and made me freeze half to death. What was the point of this nonsense??? Ok, Vented. Thanks.
