My cat plays fetch... wierd
TweetOkay, one day my girlfriend and I are sitting on the couch watching tv, and we hear the cat runnin' around playing with this bright yellow plastic... wiffle ball type thing with a lil' bell in it. It's not a solid ball its got "vents" along the sides, makes it lighter I guess. Well, outta the blue, Cali, my cat, hops up on the couch and she's got the friggin' ball in her mouth, lol. Normally it wouldn't fit but she's able to grab it by the "vents". She drops it next to us and I'm lookin' at her like "What? Why are you bringin' it to me?"
She just sits there, so I grab it and throw it... and she hauls ass, grabs it, and brings it back. Now, whenever we're sitting around, she brings the ball over, wanting to play fetch. I can't even sit in front of the computer without her hoppin' up on the desk to drop the ball and stare at me all expectantly, lol.
Never heard of a cat that plays fetch before...

TweetMy cat also used to play fetch.
He had a ball made out of wire mesh that had a small bell inside. He loved that ball! When you got tired and wouldn't throw it for him anymore, he'd go over to the stairs and drop it down them. Funny as hell watching a cat drop the ball down the stairs, only to go whipping after it a few seconds later. Then he'd bring the ball back up the stairs and do it again.
Pretty funny...except when it's 3am.

TweetMy Girlfriend's daughter's ferrit does this with a rubber spiky ball. Likes to play fetch. likes to play tough guy also by opening his mouth wide, like he's going to bite and runs in circles around you legs. There cat climbs up the pool ladder onto the deck and jumps in the above ground pool and wants to swim with the kids and get and the rafts..claws and rafts not a good combination.
