Right now I am cutting , currently at 215@~17% goal for sub 15% before I switch to full on bulk mode.
I lift heavy 3-5 times weekly and might be adding in light cardio here shortly if I don't see the changes I like.

I am currently at about 2100-2200 cal per day at 225 grams of protein. If I am cutting, or well I guess as bulking too am I consuming too much protein or should I increase? I eat a pound of lean chicken breast daily split up across 4 meals with usually some kind of cheese to make sure I get my fat and Jasmine rice with vegetables for dinner. I have a protein powder and berry+oats shake for breakfast amounting to about 40-50 grams of protein. Immediately post workout I take a "new whey" protein shot for 47 grams of protein.

I have been having great success doing what I have been doing but want to be sure I am getting the most out of my time and effort.

Also what should I do when I hit ~14% to start bulkin to make sure I don't just chub up again and only put on lean mass?

I would suggest you really get that body fat down. 15% is not low body fat. So, wanting to bulk again and not put CHUB back on is a problem before you start back up. You already have chub on.

I think at the calories you are at you should be dropping weight. You need to share a bit more detail with us. How many meals a day. How many shakes you drinking verse whole foods? You say you have 4 meals with 4oz chic. Most guys here would think that is very low. It just so happens Im a small eater myself. I'm eating more like you but stay at 200# and about 10%bf.

So, get the bulk out of your head and focus on really cutting some weight. 1.5 to 2# a week tops. Keep training hard and get that BF closer to 10 then 15. Then start back slowly adding calories etc.

I have one shake daily. Usually just breakfast. I will usually have a shot or drink or some kind of liquid protein inmediatly following workout but all my protein comes from whole sources.

I actually would like to cut down to 10% but I wasn't sure how easy that would be .

I just started eating 5 meals a day with most calories being at dinner time post workout. I can be more specific if needed.

Anything worth doing is worth the effort it takes to get there.
      How tall are you?
Sounds like you are just starting to eat 5 plus times a day. That is good.
10% body fat takes work and dedication to reach that goal. Once there you can hold it.
You just need to eat the number of calories to stay that size. I DONT MEAN ALL CHIC AND BROC. Either.

Then develope a plan or go to some to help develope a clean slow bulk. Just remember if the abs
Disappear you are gaining too much fat.

Good luck. Start a blog and others can help support your goals too.

Put your meal plan on then log your meals everyday. Most people think they are getting a certain amount of calories when really they arnt. I have a calorie counting app for my phone. That way if I have a goal of a certain amount of calories I can for sure get them. And GC is on the money. I see a lot of guys including myself cut weight and get frustrated because they lose mass. I just think of it as my challenge. The important thing when trying to manipulate your body is to have a goal and forget about all that comes with it. for example if your cutting weight you won't be as strong. That doesn't matter your goal at that point is bf%. You will get there you have started off right by asking questions.

Start a new thread, Put a cool title on it.
Your blog to 10% body fat.
      List all your stats,
      Years training
list out your current nutrition plan in detail. Ounces and cups etc.
List out your training schedule and any cardio you are doing.
Tell us how active your day job is etc.

I'm asking you to build a profile of you. Many guys on this board have competed and know much about nutrition. YOU have to be prepared each day. No winging it. No catch as catch can.

I say you set that weekly goal to drop 1.5# to 2# tops per week.

Others will jump in once you structure this blog. Up date it a few times a week with how you are feeling and how your energy level is etc.

      Best of luck,.
