TweetDo you take any prescription drugs or a lot of OTC pain relievers? They have been known to five abnormal levels.
TweetI haven't worked out in 4 days.
last month my AST was 650.
Today my AST was 259, but my
ALT is 945 my ALT last month?
they don't know.
I have no hepatitis.
No Hiv
Alcohol free for over 4 weeks.
I just started a simple Test E/Tren E & var course.
If this test results are correct this could be some type of disease or growth. So I'm thinking about getting a liver biopsy.
Any and all advice welcome.
*I've been eating cheap but that's not enough to do this.

They call you paranoid until the worst happens, and in the aftermath they will call you a hero.
Tweetlast month what did your cycle look like. And years ago I was on winny for 6 weeks evry day and my alt ast was around 6-700 each. But after a week off of winny it went back to normal. So yeah go get your blood work done every week and see if it goes down. What your on now shouldnt even come close to to what your values are at now.

TweetWow. AST is normally supposed to be 40 or less for both AST and ALT. I've had mine up in the 150's during a cycle but that seems really high. If it was me I would drop the var. and possibly the tren. and wait a few weeks for both to clear your system and test it again. If that is not an option you could go ahead with the biopsy as they are realtively simple procedures, but even with the results you still will not know which compound is causing the high values.
TweetFuzo I haven't cycled at all this past year since I had some abnormal lab results.
My SHBG ranged from 12.7 to 9 while my total test was lower than it should have been and my bioavailable test was high.
My labs from late summer:
total test 475
bioavaible test 400
shbg 9
now to my rudimentary understanding shbg will be lower if the person has a higher amount of insulin. however, my fasting bg levels were in the higher range of normal. So no one could figure out why my shbg was so low.
Some history I have been recovering from a number of injuries including a skull fracture although, I'm close to being fully recovered I do have some chronic pain.
for the pain I'll use dmso and otc items , but I didn't think it was often. Although, I've been eating more fatty cuts of meats and the comfort food thing since halloween. At least I stopped drinking early Nov.
Currently I stopped all supplements.
Stopped my low dose cycle.
Cut out on white foods pasta, rice, cheese, bread, non raw milk, cereal, fatty cuts of meat, and anything processed.
Two other things low shbg can point to liver problems and or diabetes.
I also had elevated igfbp-3 levels which can point to disease, so I stopped ghrp's and hgh. My next blod test is in a few weeks and I'm waiting to get am appointment with a liver specialist.
My understanding - even if your liver numbers are normal it still could have been damaged years earlier. If this is correct then the only way to tell if your liver is damaged is by getting a biopsy but I'll see what the liver guy suggest. yet I think its 1. drink in sept & oct 2. processed carbs spiking insulin 3 fatty meats 4 decrease cardio. and 5. otc pain killers and or supplements.
TweetGood Luck Bro and keep us updated.

Tweetupdate :
Since late November my AST/ALT have been dropping, yet nothing major until Jan into Feb. From Jan's results my AST went from 250 ish to 28 & my ALT went from 949 to 66. All of this happened with in a 3 week time frame. Therefore, I think I had a virus that wasn't test for. So after all said and done I hope i'm wiser when it comes to myself care and in this light this ordeal was a blessing. The news is still sinking in
thanks everyone
TweetYep its good news.
thanks everyone.
TweetThose were some outrageous numbers. I've never seen AST/ALT that high before.
TweetYeah, that is kinda effed up..Like Fuzo..i am curious to your previous cycles..Could be that you are burnt as far as you receptors and it is screwing with the #'s..also it can be a combo of that and your training regimen. Never hurts to get tested though..Good luck really..hope it all comes back pos.
TweetEven though ALT and AST tests are referred to as Liver Function Tests they don't actually reflect liver function. All they indicate is that there may be some inflammation of the liver from viruses, infections, alcohol use, paracetamol (tylenol) use, drugs, etc., etc. Real liver function indicators are things that are found in the blood that shouldn't be there or should be there (sounds confusing). Bilirubin shouldn't be in high amounts, it should be broken down. It's a by product of hemoglobin metabolism.
Albumin produced in the liver, too much indicates liver growth or swelling and can cause some kidney issues but not that likely. Easily fixed by hydrating yourself. Too little albumin is an indicator of liver problems. Low platelet count: lots of things cause this but it can be an indicator of liver problems.
