TweetI don't think they're mentally addictive, but there could be, and probably are those people. I guess it would take a study to show if they're physically addictive. A responsible study couldn't be done to see if steroids are physically addictive because the average male's natural test level begins to subside before reaching 25yrs old. I guess what I'm talking about is permanent test production damage though. I don't think so. I know that I can't do without test just for HRT. I can, but it sucks. I just start feeling and looking like the average male reaching mid 30s. It sucks to be average.
I do not think steroids are addictive though. There are those people, like someone else mentioned, with "addictive personalities" that could probably seem addicted, just like some females claim addiction to shopping. I've seen that silly shyt on TV. They hide shopping bags around the house, in the attic and shyt. People that claim "addictive personalities" are just exploiting addiction when really they just have bad behavior. Cigarettes are addictive. Heroin is addictive. Steroids are not. But if they were, what a healthy addiction.

Tweeti love running gear. i have been blasting for the last 4 years now. I have done 5 or 6 cycles. I dont plan on stopping anytime soon. i love being big and strong. I can make gain natty but juice makes working out worth while. its much more instant gratification which causes an addiction.

Tweetmost of us have some form of muscle dysmophia and that makes it almost imposible to stop trying to get bigger. and if you use steroids its hard to stop if it works. its not the substance really, its the desire to be bigger at any cost.

See if you run out of areas then you need to get larger - in order to get larger you need to use more.
So it's not really an addiction as a necessity.
You can only hit a 12 inch bicep for so long - but if you got 22's then you have more area to hit.

So it really makes sense to continue usage.
And when the gains stop...well just do as my avatar say..."UP THE DOSE!!!!"

In all seriousness - I have gone off for about a year and a half before and had no problem. Actually getting back on was more of a chore with the hassle of timing when to pin, making sure you have enough, the cost, how much will I do this time, am I going to try a show prep cycle, etc. etc. etc.

Take it or leave it sometimes.
