TweetFrom what I've seen it starts working the best around month 2 and just keeps on getting better. I believe that it does cause a bit of a break out before your skin starts to improve but after that you should be in for some smooth sailing skin wise.

Tweethow long of a supply does a doc usually prescribe? i wiil be doing another cycle in May but i want my acne cleared before that and throughout the summer. i only get it on my arms (pretty bad) ,and a little on my shoulders, back and a couple on my tummy.

TweetPresciption I think varies...but the one I'm closely aware of was for 4 months. Each month you have to go back and refill along with a frontloading dosage of 50mg ed (don't quote me on that) for the first 2 weeks. I check to see what exactly it was though.

My doctor always gave me a month's supply, get bloodwork done and see her again for a fresh script. It's quite tedious but you got to do what needs to be done.
