Tweetwhat do u ask for at the doc? just a full blood test or do you ask him to test specific things?.
TweetI had some blood drawn and tested for my annual check up. Here are my stats and the results:
Urea 23
- Male
- 31 years old
- 204 lbs.
- 5'11"
- 12%ish BF
- 8 months of hGH @ 4 iu per day (since January)
- 6 months of 500 mg test prop per week (since March)
- 3 months of 300 mg npp per week (March to May)
creatinine 1.3
GFR (est.) 60
BUN/creatinine ratio 18
sodium 142
potassium 3.6
chloride 100
carbon dioxide 26
calcium 9.6
protein, total 7.4
albumin 4.5
gkibykub 2.9
alb/glob ratio 1.6
bilirubin, total 1.0
AST 48 (slightly high - normal range 10-40 U/L)
ALT 60
TSH 4.58 (on the high side of the range 0.40-5.50 mIU/L)*
* - some T3 might be needed to speed up the ol' thyroid.
Total cholesterol 144 mg/dL (I'm proud of this one)
HDL 36 mg/dL (Doc said this is kinda low)
TRG 76 mg/dL
LDL 93 mg/dL
non-HDL 108 mg/dL
TC/HDL 4.0 (should be around 4.4)
I was surprised my total cholesterol was so low considering how much red meat I eat. I am a little bummed about my HDL being low. The Doc said that this should be >50 mg/dL.
Just wanted to share. Any feedback is welcome.

TweetI was about 190 lbs and 14% BF.
I went up to 212 lbs @ 14% BF and leaned down to around 201-203 lbs and decreased my BF%. I have not measured it but I will asuume it to be less than 14% and around 11-12% based on pictures of people with similar physiques and their BF% determined through caliper measurement.
Although I have lost around 10 lbs. I am getting comments like "Damn, bro you got bigger" all the while I am down 10 lbs. My body composition has definitely changed for the better.
