Tweetnever had one. i don't like shooting in my glutes. tends to knot up easily somehow, does on a lot of people. bro, if you have painless gear, shooting in the quads is no problem. shoot high and to the right (if you're looking at your right quad) and you're set. easy to hit too.
Tweetits soft red, almost like i can feel fluid in it, like when something swells from being overused..i feel fine besides the pain in the leg.Originally Posted by FUZO

TweetIt could be cellulitus (sp?). But generally you get cellulitus by something getting under your skin (like a needle, an insect bite, etc...) If it stays red, try an antibiotic. But it's pretty weird. You haven't shot there in 2 years, and it's getting red now. I'm no doctor, even though I do play one on TV. But I don't think one has to do with the other. If it stays red, go get a prescription for an antibiotic and viagra. The viagra is just for fun.Originally Posted by solidground

TweetYou can take an anti-biotic just to be on the save side, or take some ibuprofen to help reduce the swelling and inflamation. I use ice packs, but some ppl use heat. Best thing is not to inject too much in one area at a time and make sure you are using a 1.5" pin and use sterile practices.
Tweetum...did you maybe get stung by a wasp????
probably has nothing to do with the injection ..

Tweetwasp no, its gotta be related to the injection..i know its a weird situation which is why im asking you guys what u think..im gonna try some antibiotics and use some ice and see what happens..thanks for the advice

TweetUse some Motrin. It will help to reduce the swelling. To me it sounds like it prob was just injected with too much at one time, also if you did it deep enough, maybe you push too fast as well. I will only inject 1.5cc at the most, and if i have to inject more i use a dif area (other cheek) or the arms. I think you will be ok if you do the ice/motrin thing for a few days or so.
TweetIf, its celluitis the last thing that you want to use is ice. Heat would be the best thing if that was the case.
TweetThat is for damn sure. I've had cellulitis twice from injections. Once in quad and once in forearm. I iced the quad and it was a ton worse, keeps the infection in the site and keeps fresh blood from coming in the area. My quad one was a quad inject and it started out real hot and red but at first it wasn't hard, very "jelly" like and you could feel squishing sensation in the leg. Similar with forearm but got real hard and hot real quick. Keflex both times did the trick and heat made it feel a ton better. Good luck bro.Originally Posted by TestRip7
Tweetwhen i first start hitting my quads again i feel like shit.. i would watch it and if it stays swolen and painful go to the dr. and get some anti biotic.
