TweetPOST THOSE 2 RESULTS
TweetI went to pick up my results from all my bloodwork that I got done about 2 weeks ago and everything was fine except the damn nurse didnt tell them to test for my base test levels. She got everything else done FSH, LH but no test levels. And I can't go back and get an accurate reading because I've already started. This just pisses me off BIG TIME.
Does anyone know if there is any correlation between what my LH, and FSH levels are and what my base test levels should be??? Maybe a formula to just get a ballpark figure?

TweetFSH was 3 based on m-Int. Unit/mL Ref. Range 1-8
LH was 4 based on m-Int. Unit/ml Ref. Range 2-12
Both of these were in the normal range, i just don't know how they forgot the damn base and available test levels.
I've been off for about a year if that helps.
TweetSame thing happened to me and they only got me the free test results. I called the Doc and he said they did that because "it's cheaper". Unbelievable.

TweetI agree 100%!
TweetYou have to make sure the boxes are checked for the approprate tests, lol! My wife and i just went to a University Hospital and the head nurse supposedly filled out her tests and when we went to the blood station the attendant observed that she neglected to check any boxes, so they had to have them fax the form to them. Ppl are human bro, but sometime they are just in too big a hurry or their minds on something else.

TweetMick, you got any idea of a ballpark figure of what test levels should be based on my FSH and LH figures?

TweetYes, sounds like the lab forgot to simply do the test bro. Can't they do a serology off the blood they took at that time and run the test? Id contact the office and have them contact the lab and see. Id have to say that if your LH and FSH are in the normal ranges, chances are your blood test levels are fine bro, don't sweat it. Usually, or i should say most of the time if the blood (free test) is low there will be some fluctuation in the FSH or LH levels. In reguards to like women, my wifes test is low, but Estradiol is quite high. No worries.
Tweetgood deal, thanks mick. I already called the lab as soon as I found out that they didn't include testosterone levels and they had already gotten rid of my sample so no luck there.
