Tweetas a rule of thumb start low. 10 grams of high gi carbs per iu of slin. dont mess up on measuring i heard of a guy who tried to use a 3 cc barrel to shoot slin, that is asking to die. use 1/2 or 1/cc slin pins.
i must say that a question asking for this basic info shows you may not have done enough research. (no flame here bro) i reccomend covering every base reading every bit of info. dont jump into slin unprepared. remeber this is somthing that a small mistake can have big consequenses.

However, if you're going to do it anyways, I'd strongly suggest investing in a Glucometer. Also, try to have company around you during your first few times doing in, just in case something goes wrong or you start to doze off.
