Tweetnot for the novice i would not recomed it at all
TweetNew guy here, just checking stuff out, My question is what do you guys think about trap injections, i cant get mine to grow for nothing. Isnt there a bunch of nerves in the neck area? has anyone here injected in that area, and how painful was it?

Tweetdito...
Tweetthanks for the advice, i was thinking the same thing, lol. more i look at it, the more it looks like it hurts, lol,. thanks again
TweetWAY too many nerves there.
Tweetive done it with a 27 g w/ fina/prop, and then w/ fina only. Stick with fina only, ive never been so sore in my life when i had some prop in there. Fina was fine. Ive done them about 4 times, just feels kinda odd
Tweetthanks for all the input, I think ive decided against it. too painful for me.
Tweetdone it. wouldn't recomend it. next to bis this is my least favorite place to put a pin.
What we need is more people who specialize in the impossible

TweetNo, there are not, bro. There is only one nerve that goes to trapezius, and that is the accessory nerve. Good luck trying to hit it!Originally posted by NecroPhreak
WAY too many nerves there.
Bro, go with a 1/2" needle to be safe.
Tweetit's easy...just sit with your elbows on a table facing a mirror so your traps are bunched up but relaxed. make sure when you press on it (the one side), it's soft...ie. relaxed.
also if you look at your trap, it goes pretty far down your back so you can put the needle in at an angle so it goes down your back...just in case you push it in too far for the muscle you have there.
there aren't a lot of nerves in there like everyone is saying. it's one of the easier and least painful and least bloody places. the hardest part is getting a good angle where you can see the needle and plunger so you know where your at (how much you have left, speed, etc.).
I got up to 4ml in each side ;p but that hurt bad when I tried to sleep because my traps were hitting the pillow too hard and they were tender. heh.
Tweetgotta agree with the latter guys. Only the spinal accesory nerve there and it innervates the muscle from underneath. Almost impossible to hit. Even if you hit a nerve, you get a shock and can back off. No biggie. It does get sore though. I hit it with prop and its always a little sore but no more than any other similar muscle that size
