      Depends on the gear. Im running enthate/eq right now in week four, will run it for atleast another 8-10 weeks depending how the later weeks affect me. I've ran prop for shorter weeks, around 10. Most cycles are based around the test. If it's a long test or a short test.

      well after years of trial and error i'm going to be sticking with 12 weeks.....i have done 6month.....1 year.....14 months i think was the most.....the first 3 months for me are always great....good solid gains....NO SIDES (with proper percautions) and my body recovers quicker and i feel fresher for my next cycle.....when i start goin over the only enjoyable thing is my raging sex drive.....other than that....acne gets harder to control as well as my mood swings....the main thing that i don't like about long cycles is the effect it has on my ADD....i can't stay focused at work and then i start gettin lazy with my diet etc....you get the point

      12 weeks...the math works out well to get in two cyles per year.

      Exactly.....No more than 2 cycles for me....I also tend to run them around 14-16wks......

      So, not too many here prefer more than 4 month cycles at a time. I am currently in my 5th month of a cycle and have plateaued in the last 2-3 weeks, but I feel like I have made more gains with a longer running cycle. The muscle feels and looks more solid and mature versus a 3 month cycle.

      Well that's the obvious on the longer you run it, the harder you will look, or better yet, the more you will pack on.

      If I were to run a 5-6 month cycle rather than a 3 month, I would assume correctly that I would get better yields rather than a 3 month one.

      Of course also assuming that you have proper diet, proper PCT and everything else that goes with it.

      yes you get better yields....but look at it this way....less say you wanna do 6 months during the year....what do u think would be more productive.....3months on....3 months off...and then hit it again for 3 months......or just stayin on for 6 months.....i will find out cause i am now just going to 12 weeks....but i'm guessing 3on 3 off will be more productive with better yields as a total

      10-15 weeks max for me....money is a factor, as well as permanent long term damage. Running anything past 5 months is risky imo. You have to be really good at what you do and what you know about certain gears to run that long.

      I like to keep it simple.

      and besides, unless you're competing, why run it longer than 3 months or for that matter longer than 10-12wks

      The longer you are on, the harder recovery is. BUT, the longer you are on, your body adapts to the added mass. Kind of a catch 20/20. I guess it all depends on how well you recover.
      The ones with the real advantage here, are the ones on HRT. They never have to worry about recovery.

      Aside from the obvious questions about what it's going to do to your body long-term, an athlete running long cycles runs the inevitable risk that he/she is going to require larger amounts of AAS than they otherwise would.

      I'm VERY interested in what Crank describes and "blast and cruise". If one were to plot growth and strength gains during a cycle, maximum rate of growth would occur somewhere in the 6-10 week mark. After that, while physical gains COULD be made, one reaches a point of diminishing returns as growth rate slows down. IMO, it's not worth it. That's just me!
