TweetI am having problems getting rid of that last little bit of fat and need some suggestions. I have some fat around the midsection and about a handful of fat around each pec. I am 5¡¦10¡¨ tall, 34¡¨ waist, 14% BF, and 42 years old. I am on my 4 cycle which consists of 500mg of test Enanthate weekly and 75 mcg of T-3 daily. My diet is figured on 10 calories per pound on a 50/30/20 split of protein, carbs, and fat. 40 of those carbs are ¡§no impact¡¨ carbs and the rest are from green beans and low-carb wheat bread. The majority of carbs comes in my post w/o shake where I consume about 50 carbs from dextrose along with 70 grams of protein. My training schedule is one body part per day doing 5-6 exercises for each body part and 3 sets for each exercise. I have reduced my weight to about 80% of what I was doing and now shoot for 15-20 reps on every set. I am in the gym about 1 hour each day weight training and an additional 20 minutes on Mon.-Wed.-Fri. doing ab exercises. I had read on another board where one of the mods with thousands of post was advocating taking 1 mcg of T-3 per pound which would be about 220 mcg daily for me. That seems awfully high as I have never exceeded 75-100 mcg daily. My current T-3 plan is:
„X Week 1 25mcg
„X Week 2 75 mcg
„X Week 3 75 mcg
„X Week 4 75 mcg
„X Week 5 50 mcg
„X Week 6 25 mcg
„X Week 7 25 mcg
I saw no need to taper down less than 25mcg as that seems to be the dosage most take just for protein synthesis in a bulking cycle.
I would like to do morning cardio but my work schedule now precludes that. I am up at 4:00 a.m. for work and do not get back in until 3:30 p.m. I get in from the gym about 5:00-5:30 p.m. so my time is short. I was doing 4 miles on an elliptical each morning on a 45 minute pace but had to stop when the overtime at work started.
You WOULD THINK that at 2000 measly calories, Test Enanthate, and T-3, I could drop some weight but I am not seeing any changes. Any ideas on how I can speed up the fat loss whilst sacrificing minimum muscle loss?
Thanks Guys!
