Default Test Enanthate, T-3, and Low-Cal Diet Not Cutting It...Or Me!

I am having problems getting rid of that last little bit of fat and need some suggestions. I have some fat around the midsection and about a handful of fat around each pec. I am 5¡¦10¡¨ tall, 34¡¨ waist, 14% BF, and 42 years old. I am on my 4 cycle which consists of 500mg of test Enanthate weekly and 75 mcg of T-3 daily. My diet is figured on 10 calories per pound on a 50/30/20 split of protein, carbs, and fat. 40 of those carbs are ¡§no impact¡¨ carbs and the rest are from green beans and low-carb wheat bread. The majority of carbs comes in my post w/o shake where I consume about 50 carbs from dextrose along with 70 grams of protein. My training schedule is one body part per day doing 5-6 exercises for each body part and 3 sets for each exercise. I have reduced my weight to about 80% of what I was doing and now shoot for 15-20 reps on every set. I am in the gym about 1 hour each day weight training and an additional 20 minutes on Mon.-Wed.-Fri. doing ab exercises. I had read on another board where one of the mods with thousands of post was advocating taking 1 mcg of T-3 per pound which would be about 220 mcg daily for me. That seems awfully high as I have never exceeded 75-100 mcg daily. My current T-3 plan is:
      „X Week 1 25mcg
      „X Week 2 75 mcg
      „X Week 3 75 mcg
      „X Week 4 75 mcg
      „X Week 5 50 mcg
      „X Week 6 25 mcg
      „X Week 7 25 mcg
I saw no need to taper down less than 25mcg as that seems to be the dosage most take just for protein synthesis in a bulking cycle.

I would like to do morning cardio but my work schedule now precludes that. I am up at 4:00 a.m. for work and do not get back in until 3:30 p.m. I get in from the gym about 5:00-5:30 p.m. so my time is short. I was doing 4 miles on an elliptical each morning on a 45 minute pace but had to stop when the overtime at work started.

You WOULD THINK that at 2000 measly calories, Test Enanthate, and T-3, I could drop some weight but I am not seeing any changes. Any ideas on how I can speed up the fat loss whilst sacrificing minimum muscle loss?

      Thanks Guys!

220mcg of T3 is a little much, but I see no problem with you going up to 100 or 125.

If you cannot do the cardio before breakfast, then do it immediately before your evening meal either stop by the gym on your way home and do just the cardio, then go home, eat, and come back for strength training. Or see if you can get into the gym a little earlier, and wait until after the gym for your evening meal.

The lower the BF the harder it gets to loose it. Don't be concerned by the slowing of results as it's normal. I find that the last 10 pounds is harder than the 1st 30 if you know what I mean.

      Thanks guys!

I'll up the T-3 to 125mcg-150mcg and just continue to keep the diet clean focusing on low-glycemic food and virtually no carbs after 5:00 p.m. I have an inground 18 x 36 pool so maybe I can work in cardio in the pool as soon as I get off work and then head to the gym. Or swim laps before bedtime. I was 235 lbs. with a 42" waist 2 years ago so it is getting better. It is just slowing down now. Muscle mass is grow but I seem to hold onto that last bit of fay.

      Thanks!

I was going to add that my BF 2 years ago was 32% but I do not see how to edit my prior post.

      Farrar,

As they all say, the last bit is the hardest, especially because their is a point of natural homeostasis that the body likes, which is kind of genetically programmed.

I'm tad older, yet it is hella hard to stay at 10%, matter of fact I'm now working twice as hard as a decade ago just too maintain, those are the realities of age.

Read post you mentioned thought it was interesting.

Since have a similar quest as you ordered "Body Opus" by Dan Duchaine, a book on radical fat loss and getting shredded after I'm done I'll let you know, seems alot of comp guys use this style.

      Just keep on keeping on.

you may need to use the swolecat 7 days to leaness, but its 100% pure hell.

      Techniques Used

      1) Carb depletion and loading — Here we’ll take advantage of our muscles' ability to absorb up to one and half times more muscle glycogen after being in a depleted state. Along with our water restriction and skin tightening techniques to follow, this will create very large, full muscle bellies with cuts and striations. We'll carb load with very little sodium, thus ensuring full muscle bellies and literally no subcutaneous water (water between the skin and muscle) to blur definition.

      2) Water loading and depletion — Here we'll trick our bodies into expelling excess water to get that paper-thin skin look, thus letting those exploding muscles almost burst through! For the first three days we’ll water load. The last three days we’ll slowly reduce our water while we continue to carb-load in a sodium-free environment. We'll be carb depleting during the sodium loading phase and carb loading during the sodium depletion phase. You’ll understand why as we move along.

      3) Sodium loading and depletion — This goes hand in hand with the water loading and depletion. You'll load up on sodium to get the body used to very high amounts for a few days. The last few days when you cut down your water, you'll cut out all sodium. It’s literally impossible to eat zero sodium, so that's the purpose of the sodium load. You'll make a little bit of sodium in the diet seem like absolutely nothing due to the three days of extremely high sodium intake. The result is your body letting go of every bit of subcutaneous water, leaving you dry, paper thin, and ripped to hell! You're also cutting out water as the days progress, but are still expelling it at the rate you were while water loading. This is key!

There are a few supplements you'll need as well and they can all be obtained legally over-the-counter. Many may use other prescription diuretic drugs during this time, but that's not needed, nor is it encouraged. You can use just about any "water shed" type of over-the-counter diuretic. The info contained here will help you achieve your desired results, so dangerous drugs just aren't needed.
the information given here is from a fictitous image of false creation and does not exist! I have majical powers too.

The dog in my avitar is part Blue Heeler and part Rottie. He weighs in at 180 pounds but would not hurt a fly. He's a big baby that acts tough. Had him for 9 years now.
