question about hair loss?

Tweetwill my hair keep sheddin or will it stop eventually? i heard humans shed hair as summer comes, anybody know if this is true, my hair isent long but its the longest ive ever had it in my life and im wondering could this also be a cause, i look at my girls brush and i see tons of hair in that, also my moms, so im guessing the longer the hair, the more frequent of sheddin?
