the only time you should take it in my opinion is if your basically bringing your self to the point of over training, where you could get sick from being worn out. i think you'd have to have some serious working out to get there, espically if your on cycle. shakes alone will give you some glutamine, but its alawys good to use if you feel yourself getting sick.
