TweetYEAH I KNOW BRO I SPENT 500 ON PROTEIN ALONE YESTERDAY
TweetOne of the biggest misconceptions when estimating a cycle cost – is using cost of gear as the major (sometimes only) expense.
I’m planning my next cycle and decided to list the expenses associated with a 16 week cycle.
Gear + anti-e's ---- $700 23%
Pinz ---- $36 1%
Vitamines ---- $120 4%
Protein Supplements ----- $288 9%
Glutamine ----- $30 1%
Creatine ----- $15
extra food ----- $1500 49%
Other supplements ---- 400 13%
Total $3,089 100%
A very conservative estimate of $10 extra per day for food (some will tell you it could be much higher)
To be consistent with proper financial forecasting – I also looked at the items on which I save $ when on cycle.
For example, I noticed I spend $20 / week less on going out – (cycle and PCT total of 20 weeks) - $400 savings
I also noticed – I tend to ride a bike or walk to the convenient store more often then taking a car for that purpose. Thus, having $40 savings there
Therefore, my total (so far – I might add a few items later) estimate for the next cycle is $3,089 - $440 = $2,649
Make sure you consider other than the gear costs when planning your cycle. After all, DIET IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF YOUR CYCLE (as we can see, it's also the most expensive part of the cycle).
Good luck
Jay
PS I’ve attached as zipped excel file – very primitive, but it works. You can use it, if you want to run a rough estimate of your cycle expenses
PPS Some people have different expenses/savings – feel free to post (I’m sure I’ve missed a bundle)

TweetI just thought of a couple of more expenses ----- tanning, hair care and skin care.
Any more thoughts?
Tweettanning is a big expense but i think it's good cause it keeps my skin from not breaking out. i don't do it year round, but just in spring and summer when i'm on a cycle. it costs me like 90/month

Food is obviously the biggest cost, but its there regardless. That's a lot of money on supps. Good post bro, I like it, really makes ya think.

flax oil, glucosamine, dextrose, fructose, some meal replacements, various flavorings (so I can eat raw oatmeal) etc.
as well as things like shaving needs (I have to shave every week when on cycle and only once a month when off)
and other little things -
they are all like $10 - $20 ---- but combined they accumilate to around $400
