Currently I`m very close to the end of my 5th cycle.
Except I ran into a little(well not little!) problem. For the last 8 wks I beleive I have been suffering from ever worstning tendonities. It starts at the top of the forearm(insertion) and runs to the wrist at the thumb. Brachial (sp) muscle. Finially It has gotton quite bad. I`ve had to layoff this last 3 wks and not only is that depressing with the progress I was making, but in the 3 wks I laid off it is worse not better!

I have a much more detailed tread in the training forum for particulars.

Since I had been cutting this summer I had hoped to either go off for about 6wks...or D-bol bridge....Or very likely start bulking after a mo. or so.

Problem I`m facing maybe a no brainer--stop completly. I would hate like hell to stop for a couple reasons.
      1. I know I need time to heal but I`d had just about hit my goal when I was sidelined for these last three wks already. My thought is that going completely off and not lifting at all for however long is going to send my body backwards much more than normally coming "off".
      2. At the moment I`m 5`10" 220 w/a 32" waist. Possibly a bit passed my genetic potenial. Ad to that not working out and low test(off) I would imagine I`m in for more of a set back than I would like after busting my ass.

I`m open to suggestions from anyone with this exp on healing as quickly as able. First it was more of a hammer curl injury that progressed to most pulling motions and now heavy pushing ex`s.

If I have to layoff for very much longer is there any thoughts as to a mild AS that would help in retaining lean mass.
I can see already that there`s gonna be some loss but I`d like to keep it at a min untill I can start hittin` hard again.
Is there a proper AS(not nessarily) a cycle that would work well for retention of mass or possibly aid in the healing progress?
I had already considered a D-bol bridge before the injury. I`ll bet there are better alternatives. Anyone?

I`m pissed...but these things happen. Any advice? Thanks, DJ

You already know what I think you should do...

With regards to your question, a lot of people claim that deca helps with joints and "lubes" you up. This typically allows you to push more weight without pain.

I don't know if this AAS would apply to your situation though.

As far as keeping gains, you have to really keep an eye on your diet and make sure you properly employ clomid.

If you believe in "muscle memory" you'll be back to full form faster after a slight layoff. I truly think there is something to the idea of getting back to your previous gains faster... whether it's biological or psychological, or both.

You're basically asking for a miracle, and no one on these boards is god.

Take good care of yourself, all the best.
I know nothing about any of this insanity... it's just a fun game to me.

      Hey Bro`s

First off....TRIP-STRI. Thanks for all the input. Sounds like very solid advise.

I`ve been doing alot of searches everywhere online for this problem. Must be fairly common from the looks of it.

Seems that many other people mentioned using Glucosamine, Chondoitin and MSM(whatever that is?). Not as a cure but as an aid in the healing process and latter as a preventative.

Are all these available from like a GNC?

      Any thoughts on it`s effectiveness?

Right now I don`t feel there`s any damage, just major imflammation. I maybe out awhile but in the mean time I want to do what I can to get back online.

Ice? Heat? Thanks again Bro`s, DJ

Deca is not going to help because it's not your joint thats bad it's your muscle growing fast and pulling your tendon. I had this myself after my cycle. Ice it and stretch it and don't do anything that makes it hurt or it will never get better. I also took the glucosamine chondrotin from gnc.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups

      DJ,

Thanks for the compliments, very nice to hear.

This is not a flame in anyway, and obviously you make your own decisions.

Just pointing, a doctor is far more familiar with the difference between inflamation and damage. If your thoughts and feelings are wrong rather than laying off 3-4 weeks on upper body work it could be much longer. Not saying it will happen just possibility.

When it's inflammed even little things make it worse. It's inflammed because the outer coating on the nerves have been infringed upon, continuation can hurt nerves further.

And nerves are the hardest part in the body to heal by far.

      Good Luck

      GOOD LUCK bro

im trying to get over the same thing at the moment

i decided to take 2 weeks off the weights, stick to my diet, take anti-inflammitries, give it a good stretch everyday, and add heat twice a day(cold for a new, heat for ones over a week)

if you stay in the gym stick to the legs like TRIP said, as it takes only the slightest wrong move or the weight being a tad to heavy and it will come back

      good luck
