Tweeti could be wrong here, but from my research, he is what i got. any vet can feel free to correct me if so.
1. start out with 2iu, then go up by 1iu per day. this way, you can judge how you respond.
2. whey and dextrose work the best. minimize fats. keep glucose tablets on hand if cause you go hypoglycemic. if you feel the urge to sleep, DONT. get some carbohydrates into. grapes and glucose tablets being the best in my understanding.
