TweetRecently I started taking 75 mg of Fina ed and 100 mg of Winny. the other day about half way through my workout I started to get dizzy and nauseous. Initially I thought I was dehydrated but drinking a bunch of water didn't help. So I drank a "Mass Recovery" drink and I felt fine 5 minutes later. My issue is that I am very good about eating all day and I am not eating any different than usual. The only new factor that I can think of is the increased dose of Winny and the Fina (this is my first time on Fina).
Does Fina or higher doses of Winny usually deplete your blood sugar considerably more than usual?

TweetWhat's your diet like (ratios), and what did you specifically eat that day leading up to your workout?

TweetAccording to some medical sites I just looked at, testosterone (so I'm assuming other steroids also) can lower a diabetics need for insulin. So I'm assuming it does lower blood sugar. Probably not THAT much though.
TweetHave you had your B/p checked lately? It could have been high from working out hard then lowered back down from resting... I could be wrong...
"Up to a point a man's life is shaped by environment, heredity, and the movements and changes in the world around him. Then there comes a time when it lies within his grasp to shape the clay of his life into the sort of thing he wishes to be. Only the weak blame parents, their race, their times, lack of good fortune, or the quirks of fate. Everyone has it within his power to say, 'This I am today; that I will be tomorrow.' The wish, however, must be implemented by deeds."
TweetI don't have my ratios calculated, But I drank a MuscleMilk/protein/glutamine shake an hour beforehand. Also I'm not using Test right now.
TweetThe answer seems simple enough to me…increase your calorie intake.
TweetBut the question was, "Do steroids deplete blood sugar levels?".
TweetSome As may increase insulin sensitivity however I do not of any drug that actually depletes your blood sugar levels directly.
I would suppose that your reaction may have been related to your diet. As Imentioned before, what did you eat SPECIFICALLY leading up to your workout. Also, what was your workout on that particular day?

TweetSteroids can work as powerful partitioning agents and when your body is in a highly anabolic state it will require and use more nutrients. So in an indirect way, yes they can cause blood sugar levels to drop simply by causing the muscles to require and use more blood sugar.
