the ultimate hardgainer doesnt need cardio, but the other 95% should. It helps with nutrient repartitioning, and helps strengthen the most important muscle, the heart. Pre breakfast is the best option for fat loss, but directly after working out is an okay option, if not looking for extreme fat loss, as in your case. I do 15 minutes on an inclined treadmill, walking at 4 mph. Nothing major, but it has made a difference in my bf%.
