TweetWell I thought I'd add my perspective as a Canadian since its mostly Americans on this thread.I really don't understand why anyone who uses them would want them to be illegal.Correct me if I'm wrong but can't you go to prison for possesion down there? In Canada it isn't illegal to posses AAS for personal use(its only illegal to sell) and I HIGHLY doubt we have more Steroid users here than in the States as a result. In Mexico you can actually walk into a pharmacy and buy them off the shelf, but how many Mexicans have you seen juiced to the hilt?I'll bet not many.In countries where citizens have easy access to AAS or ANY drug for that matter the levels of abuse are no higher and sometimes significantly lower than in Countries that have harsh penelties. As already pointed out how many here would start shooting Heroin if it was suddenly not against the law to use it?Personally I'm glad I don't have to worry about going to jail because I want to improve myself. But at the end of the day I'd use them regardless.

TweetI think everyone is missing the point....
A lot of people dont use steroids because they're illegal (granted a good number applies here) but most dont use them because they're taught to think 1 injection and you're heart stops and liver dies. People are afraid of steroids because the mainstream bullshit they're spoon fed from birth. Granted more people would use steroids having them be legal, but not everyone would walk around huge, it still takes excellent nutrition and training....
And who would think, the 2 biggest pieces of the 'getting huge' equation are free.
TweetJust to chime in once again...
To paraphrase those saying 'look at this country and that country...steroids are over the counter and how many big ass guys do you see walking around? Steroids aren't abused there,' I'd have to disagree with your point.
In the U.S. and Canada there is SO MUCH more emphasis on sports and 'looking good' especially for those in their teen years/young adults. The abuse would be terribly rampant amongst high school and college athletes (even non-athletes)if they were OTC.
TweetIf other people were to fuck up thier lives over it, thats unfortunately thier issue. I for one would rather be a FREE MAN and not a felon, legalize the fucking shit.

TweetHell no they shouldnt be OTC ( I assume thats the point the poster wanted to really ask, as they are legal already..just Rx Controlled) . I dont think they should be controlled like they are, but rather Rx just like female hormones are. Take the pressure off of Docs and let them do their job without fear of the BS that comes with them.
TweetI second this.Originally posted by PHABIO
AAS should not be schedule III drugs.
They should be available with regular prescription.
They should not be demonized.
I don't care if there will be more or less big guys walking around - I stand for myself.
If you go to the countries that AAS are easily accessible for some reason you don't see the invasion of big guys over there. In fact you see none of them and you are the biggest around!
TweetGees, YJ, I think that decriminalizing posession of AS hardly fits in to the realm of "if you're gonna do that than you might as well hand out guns in elementary school".Originally posted by YellowJacket

People die from alcohol related deaths every day and even though I don't think they should start selling gear at the circle K I also think treating people who have AS mailed to them like schoolyard crack pushers is pretty lame. Especially when there are OTC legal drugs that destroy lives at the hands of irresponsible people every single day.
I like Canadas take on AS, "You can't sell them without a license but we wont arrest you for having them either."

People will always die from alcohol and alcohol will always be legal because of the money and revenue it brings into the government, if you tell me as many people will juice as drink, I will call you house and laugh at youPeople die from alcohol related deaths every day and even though I don't think they should start selling gear at the circle K I also think treating people who have AS mailed to them like schoolyard crack pushers is pretty lame. TweetKeep it illegal! Keep the steriod stereotype! Everything if fine the way it is.
TweetI wish steroids were legal because of two reasons. The first is because, they would be safe to get without the chance of getting riped off or put in jail. And, the second. It would be good for the enconomy.

also, we AS users wouldnt stand out as much and there would be alot more larger people here.. i personally like the elite feeling
Somehow I doubt that. 99.9% of the people I know don't have the dedication and work ethic to add a pound of muscle no matter how much AS they do. There would certainly be a lot of people out there very dissapointed with their "magic bullet" when they were done using.
TweetLMAO!... Good for the economy? Did you forget to factor in insurance's costs going through the roof? Doubtful...Originally posted by bigmac28

TweetWish it wasn't a controlled substance. I could go for it being by prescription though like clomid and nolvadex and things of that sort, then customs might open a pack see the juice and send it through anyways cuz it's not controlled (happened before with clomid and nolva)
