Before everything shut down I was on a pretty good roll training, eating everything. Looking good I decided i wanted to compete again for first time in 21 years. I gave up on it when everything was uncertain and closed. I still feel I want to give it a try. Yeah I just lost a lot last 3 months, didnt gain any fat, because I never do, but lost a lot of size. Couple months I'll be back where I was.
I have two things to decide.
      1. Should I use GH or not. I posted that article that went over a real medical study that confirmed most of what I thought I already knew just by observation. Gh is most definitely over rated and way overpriced considering what it does. I will most definitely use insulin (regular insulin)with or without gh and thyroid. I have 600 ius of gh right now and if I did use it I would use it at 4 ius a day for the entire year and a half or so I prepared. I have very little personal experience using GH. I was a very poor university student the time I competed. I used it once for 10 months but I could only afford 2 ius every other day. I also used 10 ius of insulin 2 X a day. I put on a lot of muscle that year. I think it may have had more go do with THE insulin with the steroids and everything else. Plus I had excellent assistance. The one thing that does keep me interested in gh though is the unproven theory that it can actually create new muscle cells that you never had in the first place allowing you to get bigger then genetically possible without. Its just a theory but if true changes everything. Something did get bodybuilders to explode in size in the 1990's and that coincided with the first consistent use of gh, insulin and thyroid together. Just looking for opinions from people who have actually used it for 10 or more straight months.
My other decision is what contest to shoot for. I was looking at the Masters Nationals or Masters USA over 40. The 2019 Masters Nationals was in mid July. Very good quality contest. Still dont get turning guys pro at a Masters contest but that's become a joke anyway. Then I looked at the Masters USA, also a pro qualifier, held on December 16th 2019, horrible time to be preparing to compete and it definitely showed. I am posting pics of the overall winner and j believe he was a lightheavy and the over 40 Middleweight winner(probably class I'd be in). Seeing the overall winner turned pro I was pretty shocked. I also included me doing same pose from 1998.
I hate taking anything away from anyone, I know how difficult this is but a pro?, really? I thought they made a mistake with the middleweight he looks like a lightweight and not even a very good one, im sorry just what I see. I was only 25 in that picture and its so hard to compare to different types of pics but at 80 no 70% I couldnt loose to the middleweight. I really don't see loosing to the other guy either. No way in hell could they get me to take a pro card though, lol. I think it had a lot to do with the date held. Who would want to compete right after Thanksgiving and right before Christmas? The difference in quality was ridiculous between this and the Masters Nationals. That's what I'll most likely shoot for.
God, I hope that guy doesnt actually attempt to compete as a professional. Thanks for reading my rantings.

Sorry my picture is in middle. The mid weight to left, overall winner far right.

ok here goes and since we are like minded to begin with you probably already know my opinion:

so you have the gh and already plan to use slin and thyroid with it. so why not go ahead and toss the gh in at 4 and run it long term all the way. the only kicker is as you know you want to pull it out for 2-3 weeks precontest for water and other glycogen loading issues. i have tried to keep it in up and threw shows and couldnt fully load up(even with slin) and dry out entirely. dont get me wrong still in fantastic shape and won the overall but nonetheless not 100% or happy with the out come. i have also read about the ability to generate new muscle cells with gh and if i am not mistaken i am pretty sure in comes from the increase in igf which turns to creating new cells. that's why it causes cancer and stuff to grow so bad. higher igf more cancer lower not so much. with the ab distention and you being a middle weight giant killer i doubt you are going to be forcing food to move up and you already have a tiny waist. so i wouldnt foresee an issue there either and you are keeping your dosing reasonable. i say put it in and roll with it. hell for fat loss and joints alone it is worth it since you have it. funny not so funny story, my damn kid threw out an entire box of gh igf and a host of other peptides that i had about 6gs worth of here not to long ago. talk about hurting the pocket and the heart. dont tell your kids to clean out the extra fridge without proper supervision, trust me they throw everything out.

as for competing man. i say pour it on. i was prepping for team u and masters nationals in july and of course those were pushed to oct and nov so then we changed gears to the north americans. i love the open but the masters levels are my favorite. hell in some of these shows nowadays the masters guys are twice as good as the open class guys are. if you can get anywhere near your prime condition you should be able to hammer that class in the middles. think of it this way, you have pretty good shape and structure and now you have added even more detail and muscle maturity on it to boot. fire it up man and get some. i havent made the call if i am going to go ahead and hit a qual for next year to save time or just go ahead and hit the na and masters. playing it by ear right now

Im still not sure on the gh. Only reason is I could, if it does end up adding more muscle than expected end up as a light lightheavy and have no chance. Although a year and a half is a long time perhaps I can actually be competitive in that class.
Definitely the Masters nationals I'll be 49 just miss 50 but I dong care. I'm pretty much retired so I would like to start an online training thing. These younger guys are so confused and given so much bad info. Plus i would make sure everyone could afford it's not something I HAVE to do for $. I just see some things I dont like. I would most like to help male and female competitors but would be open to anyone. Figured getting back out there competing, doing ok could give a jump start.
One thing I know j can do, you probably would also, but there are not many who can correctly. Take someone from a year away right until day of contest. And be about positive he/she will look the best they can depending on genetics and several other things. All they need to do is listen and do. Exactly what I did.
I'm either going to take your advise and just go with gh long term 4 ius.
Or none at all just insulin.
I have also thought of trying just 2 ius a day and see what that does. Well see.
Oh also definitely bodybuilding. I looked af classic physique and fir the class I would be in it seems as if I would need to loose muscle to do well. I will not even mention the men's fitness, upper body modeling break.

So are you asking the question about GH hoping to win a show to build your client base as prep guy/trainer? Based on your pics seems like you know what your doing bro However thanks to the men's fitness classes everybody in shape thinks there a guru now. Your pics look great and that should be enough to prove you know your shit vs " I won this show". I got your back and good luck.

      Really??
You know nothing at all about me and in order to comment in the way you have, based on pure assumptions, is totally illogical. If you did know anything at all you would not be asking these questions.
      I will try to explain.
Yes, I do not need any help with most everything to do with this. Gh, however, I lack personal experience and I am really, totally unsure about. I am not sure it does much at all to tell you the truth. Not positive though so looking for anyone with personal experience.
I have nothing at all to try to prove here and no, I'm not trying to increase clients in something I do not even do yet. If you understood what I wrote, I finished a entirely different career, totally sick of it. I could care less about the money I make, to the point I would help anyone and, have more times than I even know, for
free. You want help with anything, ask, I have never even thought about changing anyone (until recently, just tossing idea around) because no one ever charged me anything until the end. I did pay two people but ridiculously low amounts. $500 for entire year, something like that. It's not about money, I just like to do it. No one charged anyone years ago. Someone more experienced would help me later, I would help someone else ect. There was never thought of charging someone, not where I trained anyway. I hate the Guru BS too, no I am not a "guru", whatever that is. I have just been doing this a long time and did very well at one point. Also, had benefit of excellent advise from 17 years old.
Hope that answers some questions you raised. Good luck man.

Decided after doing some more researching. Going to try 4 IUs every other day of the GH for 12 months. See how it goes.

i did the same as you man. i spent years helping people 100% free of charge and still do to some extent. i on the other hand do and will charge most though unless they are going to be my training partner or something like that. now me personally i go through a pretty good interview process when i take someone on 99% of the time and if they arent a good fit then i dont work with them. i have actually coached a few pretty successful people here. i dont do it for the money i have always done it because i enjoy it and like seeing people exceed what i have accomplished.

ok on the gh. that may keep you from going insulin resistant as quickly and also may prevent you from developing anti bodies against it. something some people dont know is that some people can develop anti bodies when running it for long periods of time and it actually stops working. i guess it is like any other compound and some people's bodies just fight the hell out of it. i have seen it in only one person and we thought it may have been fake gh but when he switched to legit pharm grade his numbers still didnt move. so i have seen it and he would peak out at about 4 months and at the 5 and a half 6 month mark back to normal. we tried a number of different things for 2 years and it did it every time. if only i had the disposable income that he had haha

This is why I asked. Appreciate your input.
I'm not sure again. I was also considering 4ius 5 times a week, training days. Maybe that 4 months on two months off repeat? Any drug made, if taken at same dose for a year, you are right, would start to not work as well. Gh is unusual but that does make sense.
Taking your advise here, settle on that??
No one really knows so trying something different could be good.

No one charged anyone for contest prep help in the early to mid 90's. If was a pay it forward type thing.

I started seeing it at the very end of 90's early 2000's. The internet changed everything. I never heard anyone referred to as a guru before the internet. Its hard not to charge now because there are so many people on the internet who should not even be giving any advise charging people. I am not saying I'm some type of all knowning bodybuilding expert at all. If you have been involved, in anything, at a high level for almost 30 years you have to know more about that subject than mostly anyone. I do know that i know things about this that I don't even really realize. Just pick things up over time.

One kid I helped get ready for a first contest told me I was like a walking encyclopedia with this, that anything he asked me I had an instant answer for. It was funny but I thought about it and he was pretty much right. It would be really bad if you did anything for 30 years and did not have extensive knowledge.
The GURU thing has to go though.

i wish I kept pictures of that kid from the first pics he sent me till what he ended up looking like on stage. I thought he was hopeless. He was like 20 weeks out or 16 and was eating like you would 3 or 4 weeks away. He had a fast metabolism and was 20 years old to begin with. If he continued what he was doing he would have ended up with no muscle at all.

We did turn everything around and he should have finished 1st in his class, classic physique, but I cant help anyone with posing from a distance. It was so bad it dropped him to second. Youngest out of 13, second is great. More important, he was as good as he could possibly have been at that time. You do that and no matter where you place you already won.
