I’ve done some npc stuff 5 years ago and I’m I’m looking to compete again this June. I’ve been on RX testc at 200mg every two weeks since. It’s been so long I’ve forgotten a lot. I know it sounds generic AF but I’m looking for ideas on what to run leading up to. I’m just signing on with a coach, my cousin but she doesn’t have a big knowledge on the men’s side of gear. Contest is June 18th. I’ve thought about just starting with test c @ 900mg a week and kicking off with some dbol for 6 weeks. Then changing over half way to test p 400 a week with tren a for 400 a week with some caber and finishing the last 6 weeks with winny 25mg Ed and cycling eca throughout.

I’ve got some npp on hand currently and sustenone. I’m 34 230lbs 25%bf 6’1” I’ve ran all mentioned compounds before.

I’d appreciate any input. I’m just trying to knock the dust off my knowledge.

I do like the sound of that cycle but to start I would do 600 and then increase it to a gram after 6 weeks. EQ was amazing for me for vascularity and conditioning I would probably throw that in there. I'm sure other guys can chime in on what to run right before a show.

I'm 36 and would like to do a show maybe in the next year. How long ago did you compete?

I'd say it's doable bro, but you've really only got about 5 months or so to get ready for the show. What class are you wanting to compete in? Aside from the gear, what has your training been like, diet, etc... If you're starting from scratch, it's gonna be a big push to get contest ready in 4-5 months.

Don't get me wrong... It's certainly doable, but you're gonna be cutting a lot things very close in that short of a time frame. After that long of a break, I would advocate a good 16 week prep. By the time you start ramping things up with your test and adding in the dbol, everything is going to be spilling over into that prep period. That's going to leave you a really short window to get yourself on point. After 4-5 years away from it, you're most likely going to be making several adjustments and changes to dial yourself in.

Not trying to discourage you at all brotha, just throwing out some thoughts to think and consider. If you're in it to win it for June, you can definitely tackle that sh*t and kick it's ass.

I’d like to try out classic physique. I’ve been pretty sedentary the last two years. I’ve been having trouble finishing my workouts. Starting over seems a lot harder than starting out did. I’m not looking to crush a show but I need that goal and deadline to motivate myself. Not to mention I e signed up for a marathon in March and will be attempting to take a private security pt test too. But thanks man, I appreciate the advice.

some tough advice i would give you is do not try to train for a marathon, pt test and a physique show all at the same time. you are setting yourself up for both failure and or an injury. that would be 3 different goals that arent that close in relation to each other. pick one and put your focus into that and if it is the marathon and pt test that would be the closest of the three to each other. the marathon is going to be a hard goal to nail and is going to take up about 90% of both your time, nutrition and recovery. good luck on the challenge. i have a few friends that do both but they focus one part of the year on the run and the other on physique but then again my one friend can run 2x per week and place very well in distant running with little to no effort and still looks impressive. great genetics i suppose
