TweetI know that drinking baking soda is banend the the Olympics, all professional ahtletic organizations and the NCAA because it buffers lactic acid. Theres several different doping techniques, are you speaking of one in particular?

I remember that one, I dont think its practical anymore, but by doubling your RBC's you're going to get more oxygen to your muscles, thus buffering lactic acid. The actual blood is separated from the plasma and the blood is frozen or cooled or something, hell Im not real sure. I only think it doubles the RBC's by like 25% or something. I think its a pretty psycho way to get on top, but do what ya gotta do. (not assuming you're going to do it, but for those who do).
TweetYour probably thinking of EPO, dangerous shit, but useful for the endurance athlete. Anadrol increases red blood cell count as well
TweetActually blood doping is easy and safe. Just draw a pint of your blood and fridge it for 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, your body will replace those missing RBC's. Then reinject the extra pint of blood( or liter for you big *****es) and your body will very quickly reabsorb the extra plasma, leaving with you higher than normal levels of RBC's. Great for endurance, easy to do, hard to get caught. That's original blood doping, but it has little place in bodybuilding.
P.S. You get much the same effect by training for a month in a high atmosphere( +5,000ft) environment. Your body will adapt to the lower oxygen content and pressure by creating more RBC's so you will again have the equivalent amount of available blood O2. Then when you go back down close to sea level( if your competition is nearer sea level than your training site), you will find the increased blood cells are still there and working, making you feel like superman as far as endurance goes. The effect will only last 3 weeks max though, as that's about the life-time of the average RBC. Unless you just REALLY wanna run a marathon weighing 250, or want a pump that literally splits your skin, stick to Eq and anadrol for increased erythropoeisis!
TweetAhh Bad ass gotta Love those Russians.

Like EPO, blood doping is more for endurance athletes than for anyone else.
TweetI already explained it in full above, unless you're a crazy Tour de France rider, don't do it
