Clomid/Nolvadex with Alcohol???

TweetHey guys, I was pretty good with the drinking on this cycle. Only drank like twice, things come up, it's ok, I think it's fine here or there....but that's for another thread....anyway....

I start my Clomid on the 16th, and every Canadian on here knows that's Victoria Day weekend. For the Americans that don't know, we also call this May 2-4 weekend, this kicks off the camping season and everybody goes camping and gets hammered. I will be doing the 300, 100, 50 for the Clomid also adding 20mg/day of Nolvadex from beginning of Clomid therapy to the end.

My question is this...is it ok (well not ok, but I mean will it be that harmfull) to drink while I'm taking my Clomid/Nolvadex???

TweetIMO as long as you keep it to a moderate level, not over doing it, your fine. We all like to drink from time to time, and it's hard not to do it however, if you only do it once in a bit and keep it really low, you'll be fine

Tweetwell you probably won't die or anything, but remember that clomid time is recovery time, so drinking will only hinder your recovery and subtract from your gains.

TweetPost cycle is the most important aspect of a cycle, drinking will hurt you. It lowers your test levels and at that point you test levels are low anyways because you're coming off. I don't see the point of wasting money for a cycle, if you're not doing everything you can to grow. It won't kill you, but weigh what's more important to you. I know for me, it's growth.

Camping? I hate camping and you crazy Canadians have a friggin 2 day holiday?

TweetI'm calling BS on all those who say alcohol will have such a dramatic effect. I've been on clomid a week now, and yes, I got fucked up last Saturday. It did nothing to effect my agression in the gym the next day, in fact I had an awesome workout, and although I lost a bit of water since coming off cycle, the strength is as it was on cycle, if anything I have more endurance and concentration. There's a tendency to err on the side of caution, and all that is fine, but IMO you can't take all this talk about a few beers ruining your progress too seriously.

Thanx again for the responses guys, I wasn't really wondering how it would effect my gains, more just wondering if alcohol+Clomid is a bad mix...I mean health wise, ya know. But I've never seen anywhere that you can't drink with Clomid, I'll be fine, and I'll just take it easy.
