TweetSounds good brother u just talked me into trying a switch also. Thanks for the information
TweetIn the past I've always used adex as my ai for blasting and cruising. Got my doses dialed in with blood work and so on. Even so, I still never felt dialed in. I played around with my e2...letting it get slightly elevated which made me moody, then let it get slightly on the low side which made me apathetic and kind of mean to be honest. So I just kept it mid range for the last year or so. My e2 (non sensitive) was always in the 40's and my sensitive assay was always in the mid 20's. I had it down to a science. For some reason I always felt agitated and a bit anxious. My bp was constantly elevated, I kept getting horrible cystic acne, and felt somewhat depressed. This was ALL THE TIME. It wasn't debilitating, but I knew I could feel better.
So this current cycle (750mg test E / 750mg deca per week) I was running .5mg adex ED. Kept my e2 in its usual spot. Still just couldn't figure out what was making me feel off.
Fast forward to 3 weeks ago. Made the switch over to aromasin. Figured 20mg/day would equal my adex dose of .5mg/day. Bloods next week will confirm.
ANYWAYS, within a few days I was getting feelings of euphoria. I woke up with a positive attitude for once. It was like I was seeing life in a whole new light. My bp dropped 10 points on both diastolic and systolic, and now 3 weeks later my acne had reduced probably 75%.
Just goes to show that sometimes the drug itself can have an effect on the way you feel. It may not be e2 related in some cases. If you haven't given aromasin a try and you are struggling to get dialed in. Maybe give it a shot. I can't believe I went years feeling like that when I could have felt like this the whole time.

Tweethey man, read up on your aromaisn first. in most people it requires a two wk build up period and most use a dose of 25mg per day during this period. then you can drop down to maint with the same effect at 12.5 mg per day. that's what most docs use when people's lipids cant tolerate dex or they already have lipid issues, same goes with females.
now with me just guessing and knowing that dex absolutely hammers the piss out of your lipid profile, i would venture to guess that is what was making you feel all jacked up. that's just me guessing and it's a good thing you made the switch over. aromasin also helps some people's lipids which is another good benefit

TweetNice info, I have tried Aromasin in the past and seemed to be a non-responder, had to default to Adex. Right now on a cruise I dropped Adex just to give my body a break from it and am using Formastane (still have some Forma Stanzol left from before ban) but have some Aromasin too, might just try it again and see how bloods come out next couple of weeks. I will know if e2 is high anyway, but wondering if need a nice break from Adex for now.
Tweetdid you do the two week buildup and then into maint like is suggested ma? i would assume that even starting with a maint dose you could be in range within 4-5wks either way.

TweetRunning multiple brands of both dex and aromasin my estrogen levels always came up elevated on my blood work.... Guess maybe my levels are just naturally high. Haven't had any gyno issues but I still always stuck with aromasin at 20 ed. Wish I would have got some bloodwork done right before my comp when I was off test and taking both aromasin and letro to see where I was at.
TweetWow thats crazy and really sucks that you had to deal with that for so long. Congrats on making the switch. Can negative estrogen levels cause bad acne?
My lower back has broken out terribly and ive actually had some scaring from it being so bad.
TweetWell sometimes androgens themselves cause acne regardless of e2 levels. But making the switch made a huge difference. My lower back was awful as well....and not talking about little red dots. These were deep painful cysts. My girlfriend is a bit of a weirdo and likes to pop them. She has a field day.
TweetI'm going to switch to aromasin after reading this and some other threads.
Been using adex for a long time now and I also have acne and BP was a tad high when I had it checked 2 weeks ago.
