TweetYea it's normal mine hurt most every time I pin there takes a few days and it will stop hurting
TweetDon't know why my last one didn't make it on. .?? Anyhow; pinned my eq yesterday in the quad.. first time pinning a quad and it hurts like a really bad Charlie horse today. Everything went smooth, gear is definitely good!!.. is it normal to hurt in the quad? Maybe cause it's a new muscle first time pinned..?? I usually pin the shoulders.. no redness or swelling just a bad Charlie horse throb.. thanks.
TweetYea it's normal mine hurt most every time I pin there takes a few days and it will stop hurting
TweetBrutal. That's why I like the shoulders. A little ache but not like this. Makes me limp almost. And wouldn't it make you more prone to a muscle pull in sports??
TweetI don't think it would make it more prone to pulls but it does make my boss smile when he can call me peg leg at work.
Tweetice and heat it till it dissapates out of the area. the quad is a very complex area to hit even for docs and nurses because everyone's quads split differently. the cause of what you experiencing can be a number of things. 1-like you suspected it is a virgin area 2-you split the muscle and went in between muscles 3- you didnt go deep enough and the oil leaked into sub q. 4- a combo of 3 and 4. it will go away with time and when i pin quads or glutes i always train them within an hour or two to get the oil moving out of the area faster lol

TweetBrother I don't care how smooth the gear is quad shot never go good for me.
TweetPretty sure I hit the muscle dead on. Today is much much better. Took some ibuprofen this morning before bed. It's almost painless now. Tiny bit, but nothing like yesterday! Hard on my shoulders to pin all the time and scar tissue is building up. I will save that for the smaller test injects and leave the bigger ones for the quads.
Tweetit varies with the gear my friend and randomly even smooth great gear can give u a golf ball sized lump+ pain its just the pricce u pay to play
TweetI havent shot a quad in 10 years. It hurt like hell every damn time. Of course nothing as bad as a calf shot. You want to hobble yourself for a week, just shoot a calf
TweetNever had a bad calf shot gotta find that sweet spot
Tweetquads always hurt on me , virgin muscle makes it worse

TweetNot many other places.. hate the ass, tryin to reach around, make sure you don't hit a nerve... no thks
TweetShit bro , quad shots HURT !!!
I've found that more than 1 1/2 cc's in my quads and I'm fucked !!! I've done the trial and error method myself !!!
These times around I really don't have hella pain like the first years and it's always good to have a variety of spots to pin .
I rarely pin more that 2 cc's in one certain spot anymore as well .
Guns said it correct !!!
And I split my shots in different areas , and I find that after I pin I take a hot shower and massage the area to dissipate the oil !!!
Ull find ur sweet spots bro!!!
TweetMy sweet spot is my shoulders. Painless, easy... I move it around.. front, side, rear... never hurts really, and easy to do. Anybody else?? What's your sweet spot???
Tweetquads and glutes are the two easiest for me, but I have been pinning there a while. Just started pinning the biceps with some prop in each arm, have some soreness from that for sure.
