TweetIn the middle of the night I wake up and my knees are killing me I have to pull my knees into my chest and ball up in order to get some pain relief if I strech my legs out the pain is so bad there is no way I can sleep. I get up and walk it of for about thirty min and take 800 mg ibu what's up with that guys. I use to squat and dead a lot more than I even try too now is it the gear ? No real pain during day or work outs.

TweetIs the pain ONLY in the knee region? RLS (Restless legs) acts up when one lyes down. Diva and I have that, however, I am not sure if this can only be in the knee region.
On another note, my daughter has also woken at night for years with extreme pain behind the knee, more in one than the other. This can be from improper foot wear or other issues with ones feet. Also knees can be referred pain from the hips and tight IT bands.
TRy sleeping on your side with a pillow in between your knees and see if that helps at all. Could be many things.

There is a test for Rls? never heard of a test for it. What kind is it? You can acquire that at any time and people who are low iron, and /or anemic tend to get it. Women are on the higher end of low iron than men but it is a possibility

TweetA sleep test like for apnea , my iron levels are four times higher than they should be doc says he could stick a magnet to my forehead lol. I wonder if it's the gear drying me out or Maby something worse just had bloods done everything is perfect but iron the pain is like every other night I drive a five speed I wonder if that is the problem geR shift for 200 miles ed.

TweetHmm, I will have to ask my neuorologist next week cause I have had tests done but he never mentioned one to diagnose RLS. I f it was gear drying you out, I wouldn't think it would be limited to the knee joints but who know? maybe you have a lot of arthritis in there and those joint ere holding more fluid? That is what happens with my hips

TweetSome of the dryer compounds do dry me out and make it worse for me, but it doesnt make that huge of a difference but I get blood work so my estro dont get too low. I know you do too.
I switch back and forth between ibuprofen and aleeve when one stops working. Things like turmeric and cinnamon help a little too.
Also what you said about it only happening when you rest. I think it must have something to do with bloodflow/joint being cold, that same thing happens to me. I dont hurt bad or at least as bad lifting as if I been sitting around.

Tweeti would say it is from the addition of cardio and tightening up of your diet. i use orange triad from controlled labs year round for mine as well as either low dose eq or npp. mine is almost entirely gone even when i crush out my estro and dry out. obviously i use fish and coconut oil pretty much year round also. i also know a power lifter that is in his 50s that swears by tb500 for his joints. i will say that my knees get sore and bother the hell out of me as soon as i add in cardio and then i get used to it again and it isnt so bad.

TweetHad the same thing last year for a while, they diagnosed it as Femoral Petoral Arthritis...or something like that...went to PT and did a ton of stretching exercises, I would not be able to sit in a vehicle it hurt so bad, stretch out your quads religiously daily, there were a few other stretches they had me do and eventually the pain went away. Foam roll your quads, just have to get them loose so they don't pull on the tendons in your knee cap.
