This is truly sad, but it is the risk we all take here. This video was posted by another brother of mine on MC, and is a good but a bit disturbing to watch...at least for me it was having a wife and daughters who love me.
Now the original title of this post on MC was "what a meathead...wow", but honestly we are of the 5% and realistically are all meatheads!!! I just cut and pasted my response on the other forum so I didn't have to type it again here, but these are some of my thoughts...
I can see how that can and did fuck with your head a bit X, but keep in mind...20+ years of doing AAS and who knows if he blast & cruised, my guess is not!!! He probably just kept on cycle/blasts for the entire time. It has to put a message in the backs of everyone's heads here, like BigBones said regular blood work to see how the body is doing, regular physicals with your doctor, and giving the body a break regularly. In his condition of body dis morphia he probably never wanted to lose any of his conditioning so just kept on going. Look at Rich Piana who has been doing the same for over 23 years since he was a teen, Chris Dim who I seen at a show in a wheel chair as he tried to get back into it after having heart surgery and now is confined to a wheel chair for the rest of his life, Mike Matarazzo and his double heart surgeries, all these guys I am sure were pounding not only high volumes of AAS, but pounds of red meat, high protein diets, nutrition may have been dialed to build mass 100% of the time and then what you put your body through to get stage ready with diuretics, water depletion, all of this combined will put stress on your vitals. I just got done with my competition and am now going to cruise on low test TRT and nothing else for a good few months, let the body recuperate and rest. Then add in fat burners, PWO's, and supplements that also need cycling and time off so the body doesn't get all stimmed out all the time. There are so many more aspects to this story that aren't really touched on, how many shows has he done in his career, doses of what he was taking, exactly what he was taking...the media is just focusing on AAS and other illegal drugs, what are those they are referring to? Was he taking insulin? Was he partying on coke and drinking alcohol, or pain pills for injuries??? I feel sorry for him, he has a great physique...BUT what precautions was he taking while on this 20 year ride to the top of his bodybuilding career???

Tweetdamn, that poor guy

Eventually, if there isn't deep integrity and fundamental character strength, the challenges of life will cause true motives to surface and human relationship failure will replace short-term success.
There is an idea of who I am: some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me; only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel my flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.
TweetThis is a sad story. I feel very sorry for the guy. 20+ years of taking any drug you can get your hands on to get bigger without care can definitely cause some damage.
TweetWas hard to hear, maybe I had a bad connection. It sure sounds like this guy went way beyond what typical gearheads take.
Not sure why he slurs his words and cant stand without tipping over. He seems like he has a neurological condition like lou gerhigs or something. Plus, obviously he likes the party lifestyle
TweetI've seen this before. How can gear cause his mental issues and the shaking like he has Parkinson"s. I think its more likely he contracted some diseases from contaminated gear and is looking for something to blame his problems on.
TweetYeah like I said...other things could be adding to it but not stated in the video, still feel bad for him, and just for all of us to stay safe and be as cautious as we can while doing what we do.
TweetYes it is sad indeed. Its hard to watch anyone suffer like that.
Tweeti feel bad for the dude as well but i am going to say this: we all know what the risks of the game are, now add to that the extremes that some people knowingly take it to. we also know that it amplfies underlying conditions also, esp gh and insulin. now i am going to be the bad guy here. most normal doctors dont know shit and will very quickly point the finger to aas use for anything that happens to people that use them. also people that get hurt or mess themselves up will also be quick to point the finger to their use as well. lyle azado(quickly comes to mind) same thing goes for epehrine killing people and a host of other things. if you take things to the extreme it can and may well harm you and we all know this. so to pass off the blame on the aas and stuff i think is a cop out for me. some of the issues yes but i dont think the shaking and slurring is coming from their use solely.

TweetI agree with the masses on this one.
A.) we know the risk before and during taking this shit just like you know the risks when you strap on a parachute and jump out of a perfectly good plane.
B.) Partying, expecially hard drugs mixed with the hard stress your body is already on from being big and filled with gear is a horrible idea.
C.) I really hate to say it but i dont beleive this was caused by gear and if it was then i agree with the post about it being shit contaminated gear or something.
I feel bad for the guy but at the same time i dont, We know the risks and some people play with fire by adding in drugs and tons of alcohol on top of that. Gear may have sped up or even jump started what ever is wrong with him but i dont beleive that gear is what caused this and until i see multiple scientific studies i wont. In my opinion hes just another story trying to blame everyone and everything else on his problems.
I always find it funny how everything that someone does in there life and yet they all of a sudden and pin point one thing that cuased there issues? There are millions of people using and abusing steriods and if this where a thing to worry about i feel like we would see a lot more from this.
And guns mentioning lyle azado, that was the first thing that came to my mind when i saw this. And the one kids dad who blames steriods for his son killing
himself even though the anti depressents he was on says right on the bottle can cuase some people to commit suicide yet he blames steriods and steriods only.
I hate to see things like this but i dont know how bad i feel.

I never meant to be better than anyone, I was just born that way. Its hard being a god amongst peasants!
TweetThese are all very good and extremely valid points. I would like to add something that an Endo told me about GH. What I 'm about to say is not blaming GH for anything, I just thought I would say that first. GH and other drugs like that do great things and honestly should be looked at to treat more illnesses, however if you have an underlying issue these can increase the advancement of that issue. I can't be more agreeable that you MUST be examined by a specialist prior to using these drugs and make sure to fully research any experimental peptide as well. Do I blame AAS? NO! I blame poor planning and reckless behavior. I'm not a top ranked body builder by no means, but I have had some good trust worthy doctors that I have spoken to along with some great mentors over the last decade, some of which are on this very forum. Be smart and do the work!
TweetWatched part but forgot to finish it. Anyone have a readers digest version? Lol

TweetI'm not sure how I feel....Obviously other factors played into his condition...And i got sober a while ago so I know what the effects of drugs and alcohol can do (and wet-brain looks like that btw)....
However, I never ever want to see a grown man cry (nor woman) nor see their family suffer....
We do all know the risks and the coolest thing about this board is you guys all STRONGLY encouraged me to get blood work done and stay ontop of my health...I love that accountability...
