a log is a tool and is as important as being consistent with your diet. it is a tool where you track and hold yourself accountable. the way i look at it is when things stop working or you start feeling nasty you can go back and look and see if you changed something. if the weights arent moving up or if the body weight is going up or down. you need to keep as much detail and consistency in your logs as possible or else your just trodding along blindly. it also doesnt just apply to competitors it even goes for that normal person just trying to get better and look better. you can see and figure out what works and what doesnt
