However, I read that .5mg ed of finastride will help minimize the hairloss effects...if you go too high it can block some of the strength and size gains....but this is just from what I read, I do not have actual experience with it....

TweetMy father has MPB, 2/3 of my uncles on my mothers side do not, and one on my mothers side does. Im not worried about diminishing strength gains if it ensures me that I will not have to worry about hurting my hairline lol. I have ran test a couple years ago but for the past couple years have did primo and var b/c i have good enough genetics to gain muscle easily and I stay concerned about doing enough AAS to lose my hair. Any thoughts, esp scientific thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Tweetbro if its gonna go its gonna go no matter what you do. at best you might pro long the inevitable ( if your genetically prone to MPB) it sucks but its the truth. on the bright side hair implants have came a long way if you have the means to go that way. this is just my opinion though and i hope it works for you. keep us posted on your results

Tweetit definitely does work, according to all the studies I have been reading...it won't necessarily reverse any effects that have already occurred, but it will HELP prevent any further loss...apparently only with test though, so you are correct in your choice for sure...I'll keep diggin for scientific articles for you brother!

TweetA study came out showing irreversible loss of libido from finasteride. The subjects had low libido even after the drug was discontinued. That was enough to make me stop taking it!
