TweetI dont eat bars, because the are so overly processed it isnt funny.
I only drink two shakes, Post workout whey isolate with Malodextrin, and Bedtime Whey mixed with PB and skim milk. Real food is the best IMO. I eat mostly 3-4 sources, Lean steak, Chicken Breast, Whole Eggs (the way God intended it) and Sometimes Deli Turkey Breast. Im cutting right now, so the thermic affect of food is desired, plus shakes and my stomach dont agree.
I eat at least 6 times a day to build my body
I pray at least 6 times a day to build my soul
Tweetlean beef, chicken breat, lotsa egg whites (a few yolks), and tuna, tuna, tuna, tuna. did I mention tuna? The more real food you eat, the better your metabolism is, the better you will feel, the better you will perform. shakes and meal replacements are for when you can't get to real food, not a staple.
There is no substitute for experience......
TweetMeal Replacement are called "Meal replacements" and not "Meals" for a reason. BTW, im never eating Tuna again, unless its in Tuna Steak form.

Tweetmostly real food. I never eat bars because there is hidden sugars in them, plus as mentioned above they are over processed.
I get the majority of my protein from chicken and turkey.

Tweetalll of my meat and poultry I get at Sam's, you just can't beat the deals. Other stuff, sometimes I go to a Vitamin Discount store here in my city...
Tweetprotien bars have alot of hidden fillers and carbs bro so be careful, and the Keogenic diet book says its best to get as much protien from meats as possible !
TweetIMHO
Bars = Crap
MRP's = Good
Unprocessed Meats, Eggs & Veggies = Gold Standard
Chemicals are added to food to "preserve" them for long storage shelf life. It don't do a body good, that's for sure.
TweetI can't stand tuna. Chicken is my tuna substitute. I got to Sam's club and by "logs" of chicken in cans. There are 5 big cans of chicken in a log for $10. That is 75% of my meat right there. I do lots of protein shakes. 2am, 7:30am, 3:30pm 6:30 (if it's a work out day) and 9:30pm.
-Sub.
Tweetmostly metrx and whey and post w/o conconctions....a little chicken (work p/t delivery at a chinese place..so steamed chicken and broccoli is cheap ), a little roast beef, gotta eat a boars head RB sub almost every day. i don't have time to eat most of the time, so its on the run drink mixes or quicky food i can get at work or next door at the supermarket.
Tweeti get 60-70% from beef chicken, the other 40 from shakes
TweetYeah Rado, I get bags of frozen boneless chicken breast for like 9 bucks and it lasts me a week. Which is a long time when you eat 3-4 a day.Originally posted by rado
