Well there you go,if the diet wasnt as tight as needed that in itself would have playd a huge part in it as well as amount of cardio.As EZ has stated,these will be the real determining factor in what gains you make or lose with or without cycling and should always be dialed in as much as needed and adjusted as you go along also as needed.
A basic cycle of test with maybe some var thrown in can make a great cutter if your training and diet are on par.Ive never been one for having the idea of reaching a particular goal by taking more gear.Especially if you are not competing.No need IMHO.Ive always tried to plateau in terms of gains through dieting and training before jumping on more gear.I honestly feel if you really focused on these things you will achieve you goals of leaning out without the use if t3 and do it much more safely.
