Tweetwell, to each his own, but an anavar only cycle?

i dont do orals anymore, but even when i did, anavar just never impressed me. so many other better compounds to use.

but given your goals - strength, size and stomach fat...tren would get my vote, hands down.

but apparently you already have the stuff so you gotta play the hand you are dealt, in which case, maybe you should think about adding some winstrol to the mix - a long time, popular combination.

ive always considered anavar a cutting cycle AAS, which is what I guess you are doing although you did not specifically mention it.

and the other question i have: why such a short cycle?

Tweeti would include test prop in this cycle averaging at 500 mg's on a weekly basis & run that for 6 weeks. or i would do a typically test e cycle @ 500mgs/week for 12 weeks and include the anavar on the final 6 weeks of that run.

TweetYour not going to get very good results with just anavar and you probably should do at least 100mg ed . I would add test prop 500 to 700mg a week. I'm taking test e tren e and anavar right now and getting good results I am also cutting. Seriously unless your a chick an anavar only cycle really isn't going to do much. Good luck.

tex g, i think tren for an under 200 lb'er is a mistake. plus, what if this is his 1st cycle ever? ive seen that the dude has asked questions about test before, but honestly my man if someone has the knowledge base to not understand oral only cycles are a waste why would you recommend tren to them. i get you prolly love tren and all but its not for everyone, or at least not for the beginner user.

I joined to read and do research on gaining size and diet recommendations at first.

I have never done a steroid cycle of anything, so I thought this would be a good first time cycle.
I am looking to gain a little size/strength but want to loose fat.
Right now, I only had access to Anavar and have 100 pills @ 10mg each.
I was just looking for some help on what would be best with this cycle. Later on I will be looking at other cycles depending on availability.

I don't take this as being flamed, but this is my situation right now. Maybe I should wait until I get some Test E to start.

Thank for the inputs though, just looking to learn more.

yeah, i see your point. but a couple of things here - namely his goals on a single AAS only cycle.

strength, fat reduction and size increase.

without a doubt - trenbolone ranks unchallenged on the first two. on size? well, who has ever been dissappointed with a tren cycle in that regard.

given these goals, with only a single AAS to use...

whether someone can handle it is another matter entirely...buyer beware. too individual a thing to debate. but yeah, if you cant hang with the big dawgs, stay under the porch.

but 200lbs has nothing to do with it. adjust the dosage accordingly.


but what i didnt take into consideration is his history. so no, tren is not for the newbie.


even though i have seen it done....namely me.


at 184 lbs., no less.

first off, there are not stupid questions is you are new to this.

second of all, i kind of wonder where you got the anvar idea...which is why i assumed you had some type of experience....anavar is for experienced users who well understand its limited benefits and proper applications.

but long story short - your very first cycle should be a long ester test, 500mg a week for 8 weeks. this is simply the industry standard. and there is not an expert on the matter that would not agreee with this.



and one more thing - if this is in fact your first cycle, and you follow the above advice...you've got a very nice experience ahead of you. remember this: you only get to do a 1st cycle once, and it is always the best cycle you will ever do. so ask your questions, prepare properly, and then do it right.

I do know a few people who have done the Anavar only cycle with pretty good results. That's why I considered it.
I guess I'm still learning through research and questions.
I'm not looking to get huge, I just want to drop some fat, regain some lost strength and not look like an old fat man at the beach/pool. (ha, ha).

TweetI would wait until you get some test. Then you wont be disappointed. At 50 yo you will feel like twenty. Good luck with it sir. Its always better to post up stats and goals maybe cycle history to avoid confusion. Your doing the right thing by asking and researching. You have already waited 50 years to do a cycle. What's a little more time to get results that will be around for a while.

keep in mind short esters should be run for short periods, and long esters run for long periods. what constitutes as long? for simple math i would say 12 weeks. so keep short estered cycles under 12 weeks (typically 6 - 10 weeks) averaging 6 weeks, and longer esters 12 weeks or more (typically 12 - 16) averaging 12 weeks.

since test e is a long estered compound i would run it at a minimum of 12 weeks FYI.

ok. that explains the anavar thing at least.

seriously. your first cycle is like losing your virginity...one of lifes precious moments.

so dont blow.

but now that you've come clean and we know what we are dealing with, you'll do fine.

everyone is here to help you every step of the way.

but the first order of business is the proper AAS. Again, a long ester test. either cypionate or enanthate.

if your having trouble acquiring either one, then wait. hold off until you are properly prepared. Prepared in all respects: knowledge, supplements and AAS

believe me...you'll thank me later.


you stick around here long enough and i have a feeling all your issues are resolved.

but for right now, there is no other advice to give you in regards to your original concern: the proper AAS.


now, start reading and start posting your questions.
