TweetI just started hitting my bi's off recently, and although there was no infection, there was localized swelling, redness, and now bruising around the injection site.
TweetThis past Friday I did a 1cc injection (.5cc EQL prop and .5cc homebrew fina) into each bicep. It is a little sore now, but the main problem is that my left bicep is all red and warm to the touch. Is this an infection, and if so, will this just pass in time or should I look into some antibiotics or something. It isn't really painful or anything, and I'm not too worried about it, but I just don't want it to turn into something worse. Any input/help/comments on this would be appreciated. Thanks,
BuckGuy

TweetWhen you hit a new bodypart, especially with prop, expect some swelling and redness. I even get it from cycle to cycle. Prop has a tendency to swell, if not done with 100% precision, after a while, it adjust and allows room for error. My abcess surfaced the next day, by day 3 i had a "whitehead" so to speak. To be on the safe side, if you have any antibiotics lying around, take some of those.

TweetAlright, thanks bros, I appreciate the responses. I'll just see how it does and if it gets worse or not. It's still red and warm this morning, but hopefully it will work its way through.

TweetIf I were you, I would keep an eye on your body temp. It is possible that you have an infection, and local macrophages are currently nuetralizing it. However, if these initial immune responces are inadequate, you body will further attempt to kill the infection (i.e., a rise in body temp). The moral of the story is this: If you get a temperature, you have let this apparent infection go too far, and it is time to see your doctor.

TweetDefinetly keep an eye on it for the next 3 days or so. Several people on Muscle Chemistry have recently gotten infections from EQL, these guys are not newbies, so I don't think it was from an improper injections.
