i've been getting alot of mail about this post on a different board so i thought i would bring it up here

OK.. this is what i do.. so people may be different but i always hated the amount to gear that was wasted in the end of the jacket or tip of the needle.. and i came across this one day my mistake and it worked out so go that i use it all the time... when i load up a dart i use to push the plunger until a drop fromed at the end of the dart.. one day a couple month ago is was in a hury and there was a drop size air bubble in the jacket when i went to dart myself.. well at the end of the injection the air bubble acted like a pushing area and was just the right size to empty out the little bet that was left over in the end.. so now i aways leave a small air bubble in the jacket to push the gear out of the bottle but two things.. when you start to dart yourself you have toput the needle in a downward possion, so the air bubble is close to the rubber plunger and you have too keep a eye on the area that the gear is normally wasted, you an see the air bubble fill up that little area.. and when you get goo at it you can leave a big air bubble in the jacket and when you see that all the gear has left the jacket just stop.. i've had an air buble about .5ml and just stopped the plunge at just alittle under the .5ml point on the jacket.. and got all the gym candy out of the jacket

please don't try this unless you're really good at darting yourself..

i wouldn't recommend it..... and besides the amount of juice that's stuck in the needle is really small and won't make a difference... unless ur using say 18g or 16g.. then i would understand.....

Injecting air into you muscle is perfectly safe. I heard about someones proffesor injecting 3cc's of air into his quad to prove it. I wouldn't do it though....
The burden of originality is one that most people don't want to accept. They'd rather sit in front of the TV and let that tell them what they are suppose to like, what they're suppose to buy, and what they're suppose to laugh at. You have Beavis and Butthead telling you what music you're allowed to like and not like, and you've got sitcoms that have canned laughter that lets you know when to laugh if you're too stupid to know when the joke is. People are too lazy and too stupid to think for themselves because America has raised them that way.

I tried it a couple of weeks ago. And again make sure you have the needle pointing in a downward position.

you shouldn't have 1/2 a cc in there though (use .2CC max), once you go from pushing oil to air, you'll shoot it all in at once if your're not careful. A little air won't hurt if it isn't in a vein.

This is called a Z-track IM injection, BTW. Some recommend it to prevent medication from leaking back into the SubQ tissue. You shouldn't massage afterwards.

Yep Z-track method, some nurses use it. It would take 3-4cc to kill you, if injected into a vein. But you do need to aspirate. 1/4 cc is enough air for me to get all my gear out.

It's not a z-track method, it's called an airlock and it actually helps keep the liquid inside the tissue.

A small amount of air in to your muscle tissue will probably do nothing.

That would work well if you were going in the quad then the pin would be up and keep the air by the top

??? Z-Track is pushing a little air in to keep the liquid from "tracking" back up to the SubQ tissue, same thing really except in Z track, you also pull the skin to the side so the tissue layers come out of alignment to further prevent leakage.

You lost me there fb54, quad injects are supposed to be done on the side of the quad, not on the top. It works anywhere, unless you plan on injecting from the ground up.
