      I'm going to see my doctor soon to get blood work done. I'm hopefully going to be starting a pretty big blast right away and want to make sure I'm good to go and have some reference values. What are the main things I should ask my GP to test for, he's not going to want to run a lot of tests because of the costs to the healthcare system (I'm in Canada). Thanks for any input

      I use privatemdlabs and get the female hormone panel, don't think they are available in Canada so ask your doc to check the following if you can. I copied this information from the privatemdlabs website,

      -Estradiol, LCMS;
      -Follicle-Stimulating Hormone (FSH);
      -Luteinizing Hormone (LH);
      -Testosterone, serum;
      -Complete Blood Count (CBC): Hematocrit; hemoglobin; mean corpuscular volume (MCV); mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH); mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC); red cell distribution width (RDW); percentage and absolute differential counts; platelet count; red cell count; white blood cell count; immature granulocytes.
      -Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP): A:G ratio; albumin, serum; alkaline phosphatase, serum; ALT (SGPT); AST (SGOT); bilirubin, total; BUN; BUN:creatinine ratio; calcium, serum; carbon dioxide, total; chloride, serum; creatinine, serum; globulin, total; glucose, serum; potassium, serum; protein, total, serum; sodium, serum.

      I wish I could go the private route. If you have the money its so much faster and better imo but it's not an option here. My T-levels are tanked; I'm going to see a urologist (next year!!! How stupid is that for a wait time?) to get put on HRT. Those jugs by AW will come in handy to cruise on haha. My GP is cool with my use though and said he'd monitored me. I just want to make sure I don't overlook anything important.

      They're definitely on the list of things to get checked. I've never had problems with them in the past. They should be good though, I've been following my diet from Total Package for a few months now (I've had some bad days in there), training 4x a week, and doing 45min of interval training a day. Good memory Ez!

      A male hormone panel is what you want. It's pretty extensive. If you've got insurance then this is the test to get. If you are going through privatelabsmd then the female panel will give you some of the things you want to look at but it doesn't include a lipid panel. A female panel is a great test to see how well you've recovered if you are not on TRT and do PCT.
