It is better than splenda or the other fake sweeteners. All in moderation. Dzone, it is not that it wrecks your microbiome it is that sugar loving bacteria proliferate and can cause an imbalance. If you eat diverse veggies and fruits containing fiber then you will be fine. I limit adding stevia to coffee to the weekends as a treat. Luckily i like black coffee. BUT....my protein powder is sweetened with stevia so that is a daily source.

Like I said, still better than Aspartame.

I started using swerve sweetener in recipes, have not tried it in coffee. Some can be sensitive to it but my body is fine with it.
