There are just some things that I prefer the old way. Books and magazine subscriptions are a couple. Who still picks up a magazine to read or gets subscriptions? Fuzo used to read the newspaper while he did cardio, everyday. He now, like many, uses the phone instead.

i used to love to pick up martial arts magazines and old school Muscular Development magazine and spend a few quality hours reading. now that they both have started sucking pond water and not worth reading i just grab the newspaper and enjoy the sports section. not a fan of reading sports via the phone.

Used to love magazines! Then they just became big advertisements with very few articles.

No doubt. I had a huge magazine collection of Ironman, MD, Muscle and fitness etc. Good education. But then they became nothing but advertising. I still get sports illustrated in the mail but it usually ends up in the trash can without getting read. I get everything online now

I loved the magazines back in the day. I used to read Flex and Muscular Development all the time. It's funny, I remember waiting for the next issue to come out when I finished reading through it haha.

I still get a few. Motorcycle and car mags I read while I am at the kitchen table eating. (hard to get the fam together at once to eat)

I go to magazine price search.com and get subscriptions for like $5. Just have to cancel it or they charge your card full price after the introductory offer runs out. I have a reminder in my phone and just cancel then renew again at the cheap rate. Also the magazines are normally a month behind. No biggie for me. Nothing time sensitive in them.
