TweetI have this too on occasion .... BIG BUMP
TweetFor the last month or so I've been getting lower back spasms or my calves will knot up on me some nights to the point where I'm pacing the house rather than laying down at bedtime because I feel tightness like I'm about to cramp. And when I do, OMG I fly out of bed in horrible pain. I'm plenty hydrated and have increased my potassium and electrolytes but to no avail. I've lost 28 lbs in last 4 months and the last 10 has really been when I've noticed the issue. I'm at about 12% and want to get to about 8% before I'm done cutting. Currently taking 250 mgs of sust, 100 mgs of masteron-p and 200 mgs of EQ every 3-4 days. I got off the winny-v but that hasn't helped. Any thoughts on what I can take to ease the cramps? I really don't want to back off my supplement or training regime.

TweetIn the past taurine has helped. Some say it is for back pumps but I have fount it helps with all cramping. I always keep some around.
TweetI have heard the same taurine and potassium?? I hate it when I feel like I gotta stretch and just cant?? Even thinking about it sucks.
Tweetyep taurine is great. start at 2-3g and increase it from there if need be. i am pretty sure this happens to all of us that train really hard and it sucks ass big time

TweetDehydration... u need to balance your sodium, potassium, magnesium or start supplementing them aka electrolytes and a magnesium and potassium supp.
Since many guys do hydrate pretty good who lift I also can’t suggest taurine enough for your issue. Try 2-3 grams a day to start my buddy uses 4grams daily for back cramping on gear. It’s a common side!
Taurine and balance your minerals.
TweetDoes your lower back bruise up lex?

TweetFuck this. Another sleepless night. I'm off to the supplement store to purchase some Taurine. Thank you everyone for helping a brother out and the quick replies. Not sure how much longer I can maintain the sleepless nights, missed training days and general misery! I'll keep everyone posted as to how it works. The only other thing I can think of is seeing if my doc will script me some muscle relaxers but I'm thinking those are dished out about as much as opiates these days!
TweetWhat's the mag BABY1? Is it a prescription muscle relaxer or OTC?
Also, update on my cramping - I went to the supplement store last Saturday and bought some Taurine. Started taking 2 grams/day for first couple then increased to 3 grams/day and haven't cramped up since! That stuff really works! Thanks everyone for letting me know about it. I still have tightness in lower back however so a muscle relaxer might actually make sense.
Tweetyou can raise the taurine up a gram or 2 more and it wont hurt anything if the tightness is still there. lots of people use it with dbol and drol to get rid of the dreaded low back pumps that are pretty constant with those compounds. the mag is just magnesium supps man. look at chelated mag if you are going to go that route. it is the one that is best absorbed by the body
