TweetFor many years all I did was leg press and some leg extensions not really taking legs very serious. Then I stopped training legs altogether and I was "that guy" who only did upper body. May 2015 I started from scratch doing squats the right way. I remember the first day doing legs I barely could squat 135, and now today I did 290 for 3 reps. I know that from squats alone Ive put on 10lbs.
So to those who were like me and never did legs let me tell you its completely necessary for overall muscularity!
TweetAwesome brotha!! Legs are probably the number one neglected muscle. Squats with proper technique will yield great gains. Squats and deadlifts are two of the core movements that promote overall muscle growth.
