i pay 45 bucks for 30 mins. so it is way cheaper than deep tissue and she can do either my entire back or arms and chest in that time frame. same thing for legs and it is a once a month on each area. so cost to benefit is well worth it. i am sure it is cheaper or more expensive in different areas and depends on if you are seeing a chiro, pt or massage specialist. i would look around. i can get it done by the pt for free but then i have to see my primary doc and then get a ref and then go to the clinic, so i would rather just pay out of pocket and not need x rays mri's and all the other crap just for some tissue work.

hell yeah man. i honestly think the worse part isnt the actual pain from the treatment but the fact that you can feel and hear it popping and releasing. it actually sounds like popping bubble wrap or something similar to that.

Guns do you know if it affects pain from nerve damage? My hand/arm/shoulder have been bothering me alot and if it might help id def be more inclined to go try it. If it may make it worse I'll have to wait till I'm haveing a time where the never isnt kicking up so badly.

well that sells me on it then lol. I have alot of scar tissue and nerve damage. Anything that is healthy natural like that, I'm willing to try. I want to find a chiropractor anyway, just to know one. My back has been good for a while thankfully.

when i was seeing the actual doc for my leg i went in and said look, i am not stopping what i am doing and i dont have time to take time off. let's get aggressive and you tell me what to do and we will make it happen. so we did a variety of different treatiments but the main focus was on graston and dry needling. so the breakdown she gave me was she was going in with the tools to break up all the built up scar tissues and adheasions in my muscles. she said it would improve nerve conductivity, circulation, loosen up my tight tendons and muscle and also aid in a bit of growth and seperation. so in a nut shell she basically said it would make everything more open and workable and allow everything to work and fire properly. low and behold even though i dreaded seeing her mainly because of the needles and internal e stims, it worked quick and great

Would it work on the abdomen muscles or does it need to be an area like the shoulder or legs so there is a bone for the doc to leverage against? As far as scare tissue that and my shoulder are the worst scar tissue wise. I've worked on doing any kind of things I can to break down the tissue in my abdomen, the stregth has came back alot but I still have a mass of scar tissue that causes it to bulge out on one side and can be a little painful.

If it would help any of those things I've said that wold be great bc I have tried everything else i know of.

absolutely and they come out pretty quick, that's the crazy part. i could feel what i thought was muscle fiber but it turned out it was actually scar tissue built up. when we were done with the treatment it was smooth again and it still is

also i forgot to throw out there. i have read and seen in person a technique called cupping. it is absolutely worthless and useless. the doc explained to me about all it does is increase blood flow to the skin and bruises the crap out of you
