you can do the dry needling, muscle scrapping/graffing as a prehab/rehab work for anything. it breaks down scar tissues, aids in recovery and some even say it frees up the space so the fascia can be stretched. if you have tight tendons, joint pain back back or any of the normal wear and tear on your body, this stuff is freaking amazing. i would say even more effective than deep tissue work

Guns once again layin down some knowledge. I have never heard of any of that stuff before. I like to use the foam roller on different areas but these knots in my back really need some attention.

the scrapping/graffing is like beefed up x1 million foam rolling. they literally take a tool and run it over the muscle busting up all the adheasions and scar tissue that has built up area. you can hear it popping like bubble wrap. the first couple of times are nasty brutal but i am telling you within a couple treatments it is like a whole new body part. my 80lb lady would laugh because as soon as she took me back i would start pouring the sweat before the pain even started. she worked me over but it was all worth it. i was also squatting and training the entire time she was working on me, so the effect is almost instant. just an example with my knee, i torqued the fuck out of it squatting on an uneven flooring in my fucked up gym. so bad that i couldnt lock it out or flex my quad at all. went in to see her and i was squatting again in 4 days. that was after two sessions of work. just the first two sessions were excruciatingly painful the rest was tolerable haha. dont let them see you winch though esp if it is a 80lb tiny thing that is breaking you in half

3.5 weeks out. A lot less pain, been so busy only getting one ice session in a day but have added my hand held back massager to the mix, and my tens unit for 20 mins.

Next week I intend to hit it harder with the rehab but still no exercises. That still seems like a stretch feels like I'm a couple weeks out from that. I was able to do skull
Crushers today without any issues in the chest. Slowly but surely getting back!

Well guys I'm 5 weeks out from my injects. There was a drastic difference between last week and this week as far as pain, mobility, and performance. I have a long way to go but it was def uplifting when I did chest Monday and could get a lot better range. Sticking to machines and in the 20-50 rep range.

I have not had time for therapy so doing it on my own, massage, tens unit, dmso, heat/ice etc

when you get time man, i am telling you go get the graston technique done. it only takes 30-45mins tops and you only need one session per area per month max for it to be effective. it may help keep you from a future injury man. if nothing else i would at least try to sched that or active release therapy on that region once a month just to be on the safe side
