The doc could have me diesel fuel if it helped me and I would have ageerd.The only way from what I understand for it to possibly hurt someone is if your iron is extremely high. Could cause blood clots in someone who already had high iron too.
But they will reject it as said above on the chance you could have a rare iron disorder you could give to the receiptent. But we know that not why yours is high so don't worry just donate your blood!!!
You can't get in trouble even if you were on aas.drugs.alcohol whatever. If they don't want it they will reject you off the bat or dispose of it and send you a ref letter.
Fyi red meat and I think alcohol raises iron too
So if hold back on that and take a ton of antioxidants hopefully you won't get rejected.
