Tweetmy personal opinion on phone use while driving is this: it should be entirely banned across the board no questions asked. if that call or txt is that important than you can pull your happy ass over and handle it and then continue on your merry way. i also believe that the punishment for using your phone while driving should be as if not more harsh than a person convicted of a dui. why i feel this way is that a drunk driver is breaking the law yes and he is putting himself and everyone's lives at risk BUT that said driver is trying(even though it is wrong). a person who is looking at their phone is not and it literally takes a second for a situation on the road to change and someone dies. no hands free devices no phones period. we did it for decades before with no issue, so why in the hell cant we do it now?

guns I agree with you 100% but I am very guilty of doing the things you post on here..I think has a society it our fault we have to always be doing. we cant shut the phone off while we drive because we are "so busy" hell you look back at the 50's and 60's and look at what they done in there society and they didn't have cell phones..

a lot of times when I go to lunch and get out of the office I don't answer my phone calls or texts messages unless its my wife just to try and get that one hour of quiet time. I think as a society we need to slow down and look at life that is going on around you instead of being in such a big damn hurry..

I don't have a facebook page or don't take selfies of myself to post but fell the younger generation is very bad about that. my wifes work has 2 20somethings in her office that she works at they are on there phone on facephone or twitter all day long while there at work..
