Been a gym rat since I was 13 or 14. Its the only hobby I developed that Ive never given up on all these years. Skydiving, shooting, all bore me after a while. Anyway was natural until I was about 26. Did a few cycles and some partials that I had to cut short because of work and other reasons. Then for 8 years.... nothing. Decided to cycle again when I was deployed in late 2013 which is when I got back on FG and I felt awesome. Don't know if I had low Test before that cycle but I sure felt a lot better than I had for a couple of years. So now I do it because I love lifting, keeps me feeling young, and most recently to hopefully do well on stage.

I do it because there is nothing else like it. I worked out for a while, found PH's and knew instantly that I was gonna go all the way. I love to push myself to the extreme and this lets me push myself farther. I love the feeling, the look, the brotherhood, the attention from women. I love it all. The thing that keeps me coming back day after day is the feeling I get in the gym. When I walk in half deflated and watch myself turn into a monster during the session and the adrenalin is pumping and the music is pumping. Not much better.

I do it because I'm a recovering addict..been clean for almost 4 years. This is just my new addiction I guess. It may sound dumb but I feel it's better than putting shit up my nose every other night and honestly I've never looked or felt better in my whole life. I believe bodybuilding saved me and I'm never going back. Besides, there is no better high for me than standing on stage in the bright lights looking like a freaking Greek god

I've been training since I was 13. Around age 23 I experimented but really was using stupid bro science. It wasn't until I got on boards and educated myself did I see real solid gains post running natural as far as I could. Fast forward and I'm 36...I enjoy being on year round, low doses around or just about HRT levels and then blast. My blast is usually just adding something to test anymore! Nothing to write home about. I enjoy being and having good strength, looking incredible and being able to functionally move with muscle. I'm 5'10" and at 225...I move between the 220-230 range for functionality but 220 is usually what I call my "fighting weight".

It's all about maintaining, kicking ass and looking good now. I'm not looking to break strength records or win a comp at this point. I'm just being the best "me".

Addiction seems to me a strange thing. I believe it is important understand yourself and what is good for you. I am addicted to many things at this point in my life. I am addicted to my wife's love. I am addicted to daily fiber, Vitamins, water, coffee, showers, protein, and many other things that I believe are good for me. I was on a lot of narcotics until I started TRT and my life is great. Be addicted my friend just make sure your addictions make you better.
The Best Thing About TRT Is The Cycle Never Ends.

That is so awesome pitch9372 that you have been sober for 4 years. I am also a recovering addict from stupid Opioid's. I have been sober now for about 6 years. So keep up the great work and go to the gym when you have that trigger or sadness and it will help get your natural endorphins going. Bodybuilding has saved me and helped me through many rough times in my life so far. I also have 2 little boys that I have 50 percent custody of that keep me on the straight and narrow. I am super proud of you. One day at a time.
      thanks for sharing your story.

I caught pneumonia and was given maby 24hrs, I spent four weeks in ICU fighting for my life, at that time I was told I had HIV. Yes, you CAN get it from a chick ! I was pissed, then it sunk in that I was going to probally be alone for the rest of my life. As soon as they removed the ventilator the fight was on ! I ate double of everything and started doing prison workouts in my room. I went from 146 to 114 quick ! I would look in the mirror and could tell I was dying. my teeth started falling out and I was looking like an addict ! I was f'ing scared and didn't know what was wrong...Till I couldn't breathe and they told me I had maby a day or so. I believe the fact that I was in good shape before is what saved my ass. I asked and pleaded with Doctors to get on something more aggressive before this happens again, all of them turned me down flat. F*ck'em, so I went on my own met some really good friends and was turned on to some sources. So far I have only done Test cycles (on week 12 as of this morning actually). Today I am 163, my counts are 840+ and non detectible, that was twenty years ago. I am 50 and feel like I'm 30 now. It has a lot to do with being disciplined, highly motivated, competitive, and the insatiable drive to be my best. The gear is just what it is, a whole lotta fuel to the fire ! Thank You everyone here for all your years of support ! God Bless Us All !
