I am certified with a bunch of rehab stuff and have treated a huge amount of clients with all kind of stuff.

Often, if not always pain on the elbow does NOT origniate at the elbow join.

There are several elements that can trigger elbow pain such as:

-rotators
bicep
-flexors or extensors (arm)
tric
-rhomboids
-very tight upper lat, rear deltoid connection


I say similar action can be taken with the patella, unless its a truthful MCL, LCL, or miniscus inflammation.

I am not a doctor and I don't know everything. This is just based on what I have studied and have come across.
