TweetI had a membership to Sam's years ago back in college but never really used it to much. They do sell things in bulk but if u do the math, ur really not saving much money. The cost per unit on many of the things I priced out are the same if u buy 20 as it is to 2. Always do some price checking!
Tweetmust be your area yamaha cause i got 5lbs of top round for 17-18 bucks 10 lbs 97/3 turkey for 10 bucks and 10lbs of oats for like 5-6 bucks. that is almost half what i would pay anywhere else.
TweetI'm an accountant, I did the math. Sure a random sale item might be cheaper at the local grocer, but if you want a place that has consistent pricing they are top notch. 2.00/lb for frozen chicken breasts, 10.00 for huge bag of raw almonds, bread, eggs are average, liquor and they just started carrying ON Nutrition protein, then factor in the impeccable return policy. Again if you pay the extra and get the executive membership you'll get 2% back. 110.00 per year means if you spend 5500.00 per year its free. You get two cards so give the second to a big spender, gave mine to my parents and they spend spend spend. Haven't paid for a membership in three years.
TweetCostco is well known for treating employees well. They pay above minimum wage w benefits. The CEO only makes like 300,000/year. They get a ton of my money.
