I use plastic. My wife got me a prep bag. I told her that she needs one more than me. It’s nice though handy. I just suck at meal prepping. That’s my biggest problem.

i just use our old Tupperware containers we have had since we were married long ago. I am not buying a "proper" meal prep container. I don;t get it. just make some food and store it. people have done it sine refrigerators were invented. the gals at work all act like they invented it.

Been looking for a while and at Wal-Mart I found a 6-pack of same sized containers. Enough to hold 5oz chicken, some brown rice, and some broccoli.

      I bought 2 of the 6-packs.

Of course, now I have to actually make the meals regularly.

I usually use the cheap plastic containers, but my wife recently got rid of all of them and replaced them with some more expensive glass containers. They're really nice and work really well, but I'm crazy scared I'm going to break one of them carrying them around all day lol. Think I might just go to the stor and get some more of the cheap plastic ones just for me.

we use the black plastic ones from amazon. the one that is single and divided as well. you can get 10-15 of them for like 4 or 5 bucks. tgb also has some pretty good ones as well. not to pricey either way but they last forever and are simple

i have the basic red top cheapy ones from anywhere. they work great last long and if you gotta toss it out its guilt free. if you pick them up after a holiday like xmas you can get the festive colors and lid ones off the clearance rack.. always a stop of mine while shopping.. they are rubbermaid i believe..

i also have the black ones from amazon. there good a bit more sturdy than the rubber maid brand, lids snap the same pretty much. price was on point.. it one one of those deals of the day so i had to give it a go.. either work fine and work great i have found with cooking in general its best to have universal lids when possible. things get cramped fast

Was at The Dollar General the other day...( I must admit I love that place)...anyway, they had a lot of plastic containers in different sizes. They came in 2 to 4 packs depending upon the size and they were $1! Can't beat that and they were even a brand name. I still prefer glass but in the interim these will suffice

Careful with the dollar store containers. I have had a few spills with those.

Me too, and I use them when I'm camping to put in my cooler nice and organized and ready,.. on top of the beer. every week I buy packs of chicken, salmon, or even just a turkey. I'll cook everything up and it's ready for the whole week, really easy !
