I'm in Mass and got a Gen4 glock 19 pretty recently. Everyone says you cant, it's illegal, etc..etc..but you can get them.

NEVER register a gun you aren't forced to. Nevada de-regulated registration enforcement but they still have paperwork on some of our guns. SAD

TweetMy son just went through LTC procedures. There were very strict laws on timeframe issues for the approval process. The very last day that the decision time limit was up, they informed him that his fingerprints were not legible and identifiable. He was forced to pay for another fingerprinting and had to wait another 90 days for a decision.

that's stupid. the sheriffs in our state can just say no to anyone. they dont have to give a reason at all either it is their decision. the old one that just got voted out was horrible for turning people down and about the only ones that got them where people that had friends on the department. big crock of shit if you ask me. the old lady has her's and i have mine but never renewed it cause i have no need to carry. we just kept her's in case we want to buy something in the future. way easier to have a permit then having to jump through hoops to get a purchase permit and wait and wait for those fat bastards to process it

Agreed, used to be yes or no here and very limited also. We have never applied here; just to spend a ton of money then be denied because of who we are/ who we know.
